About Me

I am looking for a friend now....maybe a companion in the future...someone who likes at least some of the things I like (we don't have to like all the same things!) and wants to share the good times. I love to laugh so someone with a good sense of humor would be perfect for me, or at least someone who is not always serious. I am a romantic at heart and I do believe in true love. I believe that the essential elements of a good relationship are trust, respect, and communication. I think that most men are not as communicative as women (my experience anyway), but I have learned from experience that talking things out is crucial to resolving issues. I am financially independent and I love to travel so someone who likes to also would be great. Probably the only deal breaker I can think of: I cannot be with a smoker, even one trying to quit. I admire you if you are trying to quit, but the smell of smoke just does not agree with me. Sorry! Above all, my partner would have to care very much about my daughter. We are a package deal, but she is an absolute angel (the happiest, easiest-going little girl) and anyone with a heart would love her. I would really like to give her a younger brother or sister so if you are open to having a/another child, that would be great too. I do believe that there is someone for everyone.     Ok, you may see a difference between my online photos. I had a health issue but I am completely healthy now! The two pics taken in Whistler were taken in July ***so they are how I look at present. I am not ashamed nor do I care but I don't want to meet anyone and have them surprised. Since in a year such a change took place. I can explain the health issue (which is a thing of the past) if and when you are interested in talking more. I am done with jerks and losers so if you don't have a job, live at home with mom or simply can't afford to live than please don't waste my time. I love the outdoors, as well as curling up on the couch and watching a good movie and of course sports. Mutual respect, trust, and there must of course be chemistry and communication. I want what some people have....a BEST FRIEND, someone who loves being with me and I love being with them and even thou we have our own things to do we miss each other well we are doing them because we would rather be together. I want an upfront honest guy who can communicate his feelings. Is there a middle of the road guy out there...I keep finding the EXTREMES! I am not willing to settle so I will remain alone as long as it takes for me to find someone I can be best friends with, have a strong attraction too and share mutual respect with. To sum it up I have learned to be alone, love my life and have no stress so this time around I am not going to settle I am going to spend the later half of my life with my best friend.
