I am originally from BC but I moved here a few years ago for school. I am a big hockey fan, so I love getting together for a few beers and watching a game. I like most other sports but hockey is the only one that I follow. I enjoy spending time outside going for runs, hikes and playing sports. I also love going to the Zoo, so much so that I have an annual pass. I spend some of my free time doing crafts, painting, sewing and crocheting. I am a bit of a nerd and I have a bachelors of science degree in geography and geophysics. I am interested in rocks and astronomy and my dream job is to one day work for NASA.I love going out and having a crazy, fun time but I also enjoy having chill nights at home. I am also adventurous and I love to try new things.I enjoy traveling and seeing other parts of the world. I love listening to live music but I don't enjoy country and rap. My work schedule is a little unpredictable and sometimes it requires travel so it's difficult to meet people. My profile says that I am just looking to date but that's because I'm not sure I expect much out of this online thing but ideally I am looking for someone long term, but I'm also up for making new friends! KCCO!

I'm silly and sweet. I'm an open book of possibilities. Looking for someone who likes a challenge. I'm a single mom of a gorgeous little man, looking for someone to join and grow our happy little family of two. However, I am very close to my extended family, so you'll have to be able to put up with us all. ;)I enjoy being outdoors and can be found at the beach swimming or just going for a walk every chance I get from early spring to late fall (and sometimes even in the winter, if the wind isn't too bitter). A first date shouldn't be as anxiety filled as people make it out to be. Yes, meeting someone new is exciting (even if it doesn't work out), but going out for coffee and a walk can ease the tension and make that first meeting even better. Should it go great, dinner and a movie (do people still rent movies?) sounds perfect to me!
