About Me

I believe everyone has some sort of "foundation" that has made them who they are. I have two supportive and great parents that to this day remain happily married. My parents have always taught me to dream big and work hard to acquire them. I became a registered nurse and absolutely love what I do and there isn't a day at work that I don't enjoy. I believe helping people has a great reward. I work ***hour shifts which makes it nice to have free time. I live my the motto-work to live not live to work. I would love to advance my nursing career later in life. Through life's journey, I have divorced and had two exceptional children-a son who is 7 and a daughter who is 5. I share joint custody so I have them one week on and one week off. They are of course my first priority always in life. Being healthy is quite important to me-so I exercise regularly to stay in shape. I have a very optimistic view on life and so I always make it a priority to be smiling. I believe in Jesus and attend church regularly. Things I enjoy doing-hiking, walking, cranking the radio in my car and jamming out to whatever I may be listening to, reading. I enjoy listening to mostly country music, no rap unless I'm dancing!What am I looking for? A man who knows how to treat a lady-holds the door open, gives his jacket up to the lady he's with if she's cold. Confident yet not****. Ambitious. Health conscious. Willing to attend church or even better already does. Happy with the life he currently has but looking for that final piece-me (LOL). Enjoys being snuggled and hugged. First date is always awkward. Meeting for a short time somewhere and obviously dependent on weather is a good start. You know pretty quickly after meeting someone if there is chemistry or a possible connection.

    I am a young woman who has realized that life doesn't always go as planned and that embracing that acceptance can be a hard pill to swallow, however once done, it opens your life to endless possibilities. I am finding that living in the present moment can relieve more stress than imagined, and day to day I attempt to make that a habit. I am highly educated and I have returned to school for my BCBA because I am a life long learner and I must just accept that. As far as interests, I partake in a lot of spiritual reading and have taken up yoga. Still working on meditating, but when I do I feel refreshed and amazing! I am also an adventurous, spontaneous person who likes anything from hiking mountains, skiing, concerts, watching movies, playing games, sporting events, the beach, and even the odd night at a casino. I am basically up for anything. My time is limited in such activities due to my beautiful son who has become my world, however as he grows I plan to expose him to all the wonderful things in life and I would love to meet someone who would share those experiences with us.I feel like I have a whole, complete, balanced life full of happiness. I'm happy on my own and if that is intended for me so be it, but I do find myself missing that special someone from time to time. I would be fooling myself if I didn't admit that. So, every day I continue on with my "plan" which is to have a happy life where my son can grow up in a positive, loving, enriched, environment. I would love to meet open people and develop friendships, casual relationships and hopefully one day meet my soul mate; a person that I am in love with who is not only my best friend but also my lover, emotional supporter, and counterpart. I too would be that for him. It would have to be something casual where I feel safe, yet fun and adventurous. Surprise me.
