I'm an idealist above all things , but don't worry I kept myself down here on earth. Usually I can see how things are already working out before anyone else does. People at work call me The Glue. Yes I get to hang around funny old people all day. These people crack me up - and on the same note, they are so understanding and appreciative-- especially when I give them a Mapquest printout. They trip. I never expected to live in LA and didn't know I would love it so much. I landed here on default and now, I remain as long as it wants me to stay. I find this city fascinating and entirely unique in its different pocket environments. My personality is more laid back than gung-ho - I very easy can listen to anything anyone is saying and am quite interested in other peoples points of view. I sometimes get lost in this site - I value every single message, truly. I'm looking for hang outs mainly, just seeing who's beyond my city limits, and do not expect you to be anyone else than you. Keep it simple:) A comfortable atmosphere for conversation.

I am a 32 year old woman with an associates degree from an occupational therapy assistant accredited course. I currently attend yoga classes, attend continuing Ed courses and work full time at a nursing home. I have to say that I love my job. My coworkers have a good sense of humor which makes working enjoyable. When they say to surround yourself with people who can change your life for the better then you have found your sanctuary where you can be yourself. I have found that my sense of humor and self esteem has been its strongest since I found this job. I enjoy being around someone who enjoys outdoor activities, has a great sense of humor, energy, down to earth, and sees everything with a positive perspective. I enjoy all types of music. I enjoy traveling, exercising, writing, and hanging out with friends. I actually rarely ever date but I do go out now and then with my friends. I am career driven and independent. I am not out to date for money and buying me gifts doesn't guarentee a relationship. I have a great sense of humor and I get along with everyone, but to date me you have to have a good sense of humor and alot of patience. I do not have mood swings and I am not the possessive jealous type. If you have friends that are girls I am cool with that. I hate to get into arguments because that is not my thing. We either agree or disagree. To go further than that to prove a point wastes time. I am not on this site for an intimate encounter. Having a good job or enrolled in school to further oneself is a plus for me. I do not weed out by one's career/job. I recieve comments from people all the time when I go out "how are you single","you're so beautiful." I just haven't found the right one yet. Open for suggestions but I would like a first date to be at a lounge or cafe. I will only say this once I will not partake in a sexual phone conversation.
