So I took some time off this site, to figure out exactly what it is I want. And came to realize that at my age, or anyone who`s middle age, we should not settle just to be with somebody! If thats the case, then you`ll always be wondering if somebody else would`ve been better for you, or me.I have 2 sons, 23 & 26 that both live on their own within 10 minutes from me. And please don't think bad of me, as this form of dating is suppose to be with the focus on finding a perfect match, so here it goes . . .. Being a parent is wonderful, but still having them living at home or shared custody is not ideally something I'm looking for ;( I've raised my son's and still have a close relationship with them, but being a hands on step-parent is not something I'm interested in. Then again, under certain circumstances the rule could be broken ;)I want to be sure that the man I choose will be willing to travel to see me for the first while, so that the distance will not be a problem until we become a definite item. Then again if your within an hours drive Im sure that I could make it, lol. I am TERRIBLE with directions :( I believe strongly in treating people the way you would like to be treated, and communication is key to any relationship!. But then again listening and respecting the feelings and opinions of your partner, is also very important. I very much appreciate being treated like a woman, but am no Diva. Romance, respect and a door being open can go a very looong way. And in return I will treat a man the same . . .minus the opening of his door. But if asked I will have dinner prepared when he gets home after a hard day`s work, and even grab him a drink if he asks nicely.Please do not reply unless you have a picture . . . Talking to a blank screen is why Im on this site and hoping to make HUMAN contact.Thank-you, Something public like a drink or coffee. . . . . . Then if it doesn`t work an easy escape is possible. I love a good football game. I also enjoy going to hockey games and hitting up a good movie. I have to admit that the beach is the place that I love the most. I am a great cook. There is not a meal that I won't tackle. Hey worse thing that can happen? I screw it up and its a take out kind of night. but I am happy to admit, that has not happened yet :-)The best way to learn about someone is to ask... not every *** to mean that there is a connection, but it never hurts to try right? I mean everything happens for a reason. For now, lets date and see where it goes! I believe that 2 people should chat first and get to know a little bit about each other.
