Hobbies? what is that? I haven't got any other than my business, dogs and family! I do like to hike and camp though! I came back here 3 years ago this April and haven't traveled since. I am pretty much up for anything new...except maybe bungee jumping Lol. I like to watch movies ...preferably at home as I can relax and drink wine and eat popcorn ;-) I also like to have dinner parties but that seems to be a dying art these days. The thing about dinner parties is that you can experiment and make something new. I love Mediterranean style food, Italian, seafood, steak, pretty much anything well made. Not into fast food..fast food to me is pasta and pesto at home! I have two crazy sweet dogs and a cat. I run a pet care business but I also work for DHS as an independent consultant. I am hard of hearing so music that I don't need to understand words and is soothing is just the ticket. I do like upbeat music though when I am not working on my computer. Since I work from home it is nice to sit on my couch with my laptop with music pouring through the room. But don't ask me if it is good or bad Lol. Well, we could meet for lunch or brunch on a weekend and see how it progresses. During the week, how about a drink and if we like each other progress to dinner.

My hobbies and interests consist of simple things. I enjoy the outdoors, going to beaches, camping, and fishing. If I am in a relationship with someone, I want to hold hands as we walk, a soft unexpected kiss, little things like that to show you care. I have three boys, one grown, and two teens, whom I absolutely adore. I'm a pretty open minded person and I don't judge people based on their viewpoints, looks, etc. The way I see it, I haven't walked in their shoes, nor they in mine. I prefer to get to know people, and I value honesty above all else. I trust (maybe too much) until I am given a reason not to. As a friend I am kind, honest, and loyal. No matter wether we are friends, or something more, I believe in being open with each other ..no games, lies, or trying to read whats on each others minds. The past few years have brought many changes in my life, so my goals at this point are to keep things simple, and be happy. First date? Jeez, it's been a while since I've dated, so I'm not even sure. I suppose dinner and a movie is the traditional thing, but I think the movie rules out getting to know each other since conversation is out of the question. I think I'd be most comfortable with something casual. A simple dinner, a local festival, a day at the zoo? Maybe even a car show or flea market. I'm open to suggestions.

I don’t like scary movies, but I like suspense, action and Sci Fi as well. My taste in music is varied. I like rock, the old hair bands, folk, country and I think that Marc Cohen is one of my favorite singer song writers.I am here to find a man who enjoys life, who is happy in his career or work. Someone who is kind and caring and sees the world as half-full rather than half-empty. Someone who reflects the best in me as I would want to be that for him.I don't necessarily want to pursue a marriage, although I would like to marry again one day. I love children but not looking to start that in my life at this time, but I have thought about being a foster parent and helping some kids out there who could really use a break. Possibly having a beautiful view of a sunset and some fun music in the background. 0r going out for a walk along a stream, a beautiful park or water of some kind, to just enjoy the outdoors. People watching and finding things to talk about that we have in common or providing a great atmosphere to learn more about our goals and aspirations.
