Seeing as none of my friends will take the hint and set me up with someone, it might be time to try something proactive. Until I decide what that is, rewriting this will have to do. Social-life wise, I don't have a great deal going on outside of work, and the odd trip back home. It might be a bit 'usual' but going for a couple of relaxed drinks where there's a chance to chat and get a first impression of each other seems like the best shout.
