I have been in relationships that have both fulfilled/not fulfilled me, but I’ve learned a lot from both. When I say that I’m a man with a simple outlook and low maintenance, I actually mean it:I love to show affection (there’s something about holding someone’s hand that makes you smile and *feel* warm and fuzzy). I enjoy being shown affection which could be as basic as a high five when the STEELERS score a touchdown (holla) or knowing on a bad day that a hug could make all the difference. I am quite happy in jeans and a t shirt, but would also dress up rather nicely for those special occasions. Seeing a city with someone new allows me to see that city with a fresh pair of eyes.I’ve learned to be flexible in relationships and to be sure that I am bringing something to the table. I would like to find someone honest (who can be truthful and handle hearing the truth), funny (is there a better characteristic than having a sense of humor? I love a great laugh that leaves me wanting more), sensitive (it’s so important to share but to be sensitive to the other person’s feelings), adventurous (I *want* to try new things, but sometimes it takes someone else to do it with me for me to take the plunge), and I guess at the end of the day, a woman that really wants a “plus one” in their life…..a “partner in crime”…..I think I bring my fair share to the *right* relationship as well-with the right woman: I’m not afraid to tell you how beautiful I think you are. If making you happy means pouring you a cup of coffee in the morning while you’re still trying to wake up, I’m THAT guy. It would be my pleasure to surprise you with your favorite things; not because it’s your birthday, merely because YOU are my special occasion. If you’ve had a particularly bad day, I’d love to listen as I drive us to dinner at your favorite restaurant or make your favorite meal for you, being a bachelor has turned me into quit a cook.Beyond anything I’ve explained above, I guess those are the things two people get to learn about one another over each hot chocolate, dinner, lunch…and hopefully an aimless stroll someplace quaint so I can catch a glimpse of you smiling while holding a warm beverage and us sharing stories that *tell* about who we are in the hopes of getting to know one another and starting something special…….If we were riding in my truck, we'd be listening to anything from the 80's/90's (Hair Nation) that makes you want to play air guitar and air drums! I am an information technology professional and thats pretty much all I have done throughout my entire working life. I can be a "geek" but upon first meeting I will definitely not come off as a "techie" or geek at all.I love music - rock, hard rock, ambient, smooth jazz, etc.. I play guitar and several other *** a professional level and even play in a cover band occasionally. While I am a musician, I have no goals or desires to do it full time. I am way too old and it takes up too much time,.Next to music my favorite thing is water.. Lakes, ponds, streams, creeks, oceans, beaches - whatever. I love boats and have owned many and while I do not own one currently I will certainly own one again.I like to be very low strung. I try not to get upset at much and am somewhat passive.
