Hello,I am a youthful, active, independent woman with many interests. I have achieved many of my life goals but still have a few more to pursue from my bucket list. Family is very important. I have two beautiful independent children who I am very proud of and mean the world to me. My extended family live close by along with some wonderful friends and colleagues.The best gift I ever gave myself (besides my children) is the opportunity to travel. I love to meet people of all walks, learning about different cultures/customs and ways of life. I have also done some international volunteering and would like to do more. I am very interested in social/political and humanitarian issue.I am the adventurous, curious type or so my friends and family claim. I think going to new places and trying new things is just who I am. I have a constant need to continue learning whether visiting a museum,taking a course, or learning a new board game. I also like music,dancing, a glass of wine,dinner parties(guest or hosting) and going to the movies. Two more important things. There needs to be chemistry. It is a phenomenon I do not fully understand but I do know you cannot "make it" or "fake it". Life has been good to me... My children are grown and blessed me with wonderful grandchildren to love, but now its my turn in life to find a companion to share our lifes blessing. I enjoy life on a daily basis. family time, cooking, making wine, gardening, motorcycling, snowmobiling, boating and just laying low. I am fun loving playful person with a sense of humor , who doesnt like a good hearty laugh it is the best medicine. I am looking to do more weekend get aways or fun in planning a trip to a warm place.
