Time with friends and family is important to me, because they're what matters in life. The best times can be anything from listening to music on the back porch, to hanging out with friends at the lake, to climbing to the top of a mountain. I like road trips and want to take more of them; I love the beach and the mountains...NC has it all and I want to get out and see it with someone I enjoy spending time with. It's not as much the place you go, as the company you're with, that make the best memories. Positive people are uplifting and easier to be around, so I try to be that way, (most of the time)! I want to meet someone who is in a good place and knows what he wants in life, (in terms of a relationship). I know what I want and am ready to start enjoying the good things in life with someone like-minded. I believe compromise is the key to any successful relationship, (friendship or otherwise), along with honesty, kindness and the desire to actually talk and spend time together. Texting is best when used sparingly; I'd like to meet a man who enjoys talking to me. Guess we'll see who's out there. :) Something fun, but short - like having a beer or drink. Going to the gallery hop or taking a walk. Meals are probably best saved for a 2nd date...unless you really click on that first meeting.

Well, i took my profile off for a bit... but it turns out things werent as i thought they were, so here i am again... Lol. HONESTY IS KEY! I'm looking for a friend first. You cant get the butterflies and fireworks without that. I want to find someone to hang out and watch goofy movies with, yet can have an intellectual conversation. Simple things are my favorite, but the ability to accommodate other situations is a must. LOL. I love college football. I have favorites... but a td at the end of a 96 yard punt will make me scream. I love to read and I'm rarely serious... See first line of this profile. (: I'm not a fan of writing autobiographies...***EDIT***So, one would assume this wouldn't need to be said, but here's some automatic deal breakers:1. Married. 2. Most of your coworkers are in college or hs. (grow up and get a big boy job)3. Obvious form letter style msgs, "hi", or any other clear indications that you didn't take the time to read my profile. If you can't think of anything to say. .. Say that. Lmao!4. Requests for nude photos, or requests for permission to send your nude photos to me. 5. Anyone who isn't local. If you drive hours to meet me for coffee... I really must question your sanity. Lol.6. DISHONESTY! Not really a first date, but a meeting for coffee or a walk in the park. Talk and get to know one another and decide if we want to go on a first date.

Woman. 51 years old. Zodiac sign: Leo.
Looking for: man. In age: 48-58
My son is the highlight of my life but he is now 19 years old and starting to have a life of his own. I work in corporate management for a large in-home service provider. I am an avid sports fan and was a competitive athelete most of my life where I predominately played raquetball (although I haven't played in years). I enjoy watching football games on Sunday and watching baseball during the summer months. I am a devoted Giants and e Yankees fan but will not hold it against you if you are Redskins or Steelers fan. I absolutely love going to the beach and wherever there is sun, sand and blue waters I am a happy girl. I am looking for a guy who I can be friends with first and then hopefully our friendship can grow into something more. I hope to meet someone I could look forward to coming home to at the end of a crazy day. I have a very stressful job so it is important to me that the man in my life understand that my job can be draining at times and would be willing to give me that much needed massage at the end of the day. I would like to meet someone I could share anything with without the worry of being judged or criticized. Someone who will treat me with respect and most importantly someone who accepts me for who I am and not who they would like me to be.
