I've lived in 11 different cities in the past 13 years (five Canadian, five overseas - but don't worry, I'm planning on setting up camp in TO for a while!). I travel when I can, preferably for long periods of time... at any given moment I have ***trips mapped out.I like random activities - book launches, language exchanges, art crawls, dive bars, live music, ethnic hole-in-the-wall eateries,****tail competitions etc. (*love* that this site screened out the "cock" in "cocktail"). I also require significant down time... I like spending quality time with myself and I am a big fan of naps and sleeping in.Not so much into materialism beyond basic comforts (although I did just purchase a pretty bad-ass new bike)... I respect people who are compassionate, not just to their friends and family, but to the other beings they share the planet with outside of their own circles, tax bracket, species. I like people who have a drive to improve themselves as a person and to make a contribution to the world, even if it's just by not being a complete douchebag [end rant].Ciao belli! My favorite thing to do is to make people smile, i know kinda cheesy, however... it is true! I enjoy being helpful and encouraging! Someone who realizes that there are some things that guys just do for girls whether they are with them or not, such as opening doors and making EYE contact during conversation. I want a relationship that has a strong conversational basis to it. I would say something active that is around a good number of people, but still lends itself to quality conversation. Such as going ice skating or roller blading because you can enjoy getting to know each other and also see how the other reacts to many situations.
