Looking for: woman. In age: 49-59
I like old rock music from the fifties and sixties, and seventies, I have even liked some of my sons' music. I had classical training with the clarinet and I have experience with the saxaphoen and trumpet.I have two sons, one is 16 and is working as a mechanic and then other is 13. We enjoy going out for dinner together and doing various activities, such as canoeing. In the future I would like to introduce them to horseback riding, an activity that I have enjoyed since I was a young boy.Other activities that I enjoy is watching movies and reading books. My idea of a perfect first date would begin with me picking a lady up with a bouquet of her favourite flowers and then find a unique restaurant that we would both enjoy. We would spend the evening getting to know one another over dinner and then we would go see a late night movie. Afterwards, if there is time, we could go for a cup of coffee before I drive her back to her house.

I love being outdoors and would have a more enjoyable night sitting by a bonfire rather than watching TV or movies. They're ok too sometimes, like cold winter nights, but going for a drive, a walk,a bike ride, or even window shopping, would be more rewarding to me. Watching movies or watching TV usually puts me to sleep. I do tend to spend too much time online or gaming though. I've enjoyed gymnastics, drawing, painting, working on cars,Archery, sailing, snowmobiling, fishing, but the last few yrs i'd say my passion has been photography, computers , camping, or finding a site by the water to relax...or anywhere far enough away that theres no more traffic noise or airplanes.just the wind, birds, and perhaps the odd crackling branch to make it exciting. I always liked taking pictures, but I couldn't afford to keep developing them. But now with Digital cameras ...well! i can easily *** in a day...and maybe keep 3, but i'm as interested in taking them as i am too see what i got when i get home. I don't claim to be any great photographer, i know little actually so far..but i do have some nice ones ( I think ), and i seem to spend a lot of my free time that way. And of course camping falls nicely into all this too. I don't consider myself a "tree hugger". But I will say i have a problem with anyone referring to hunting or fishing as a sport.......but its not a sport...a sport seems to generally involve chasing a piece of rubber, leather, or plastic back and forth in a pre-determined area, and how well you can do it.....catch and release is just torturung nature, and I feel if we fished for birds the same way, people might understand the cruelty..but since it's all happening under water who cares? Who can hear them cry out? If they don't have feelings or a mind of their own, Why do you think they put up such a fight.....instantly? All I'm saying is if you're not doing it to eat them, don't bother. You may as well be catching squirrels or cats and dogs on my eye, with your fishing rods if they arent being used for "hunting",...for food, and just to let them go after....how can you feel that's ok? when most of these same people "wouldnt hurt a fly" .....unless it bit them....oh and spiders are ok too.Not that we aren't going to pollute them all into extinction within the next 50 yrs anyways probably.....just saying. I'd say I'm Christian or rather i believe in a God....but no longer follow Catholic beliefs. or rituals.I like most types of music..depending on my mood at the time of course, or how often i've heard the song lately. I used to enjoy dancing, but was always too nervous to ask women I didn't know. Now it's been so long i feel even more awkward when I do dance.Unless its a slow one. I'm a person who hates conflict, very easy going, but not a push over....i may go along with it for a while..and not say nothing...but I'd say I do tend to give everyone "enough rope to hang themselves". I treat all as a friend...but if you screw me over, or i feel i'm being used i won't be a close friend for long.or grant you the same trust. My father was in the military, and moving was almost guarenteed every ***yrs. So i guess I'm very adaptable with different types of people, and socialy retarded in other ways. lol ...but hey if everyone was perfect life would be boring and stagnant. I honestly don't know what I'm looking for on this site. I think there's too many options out there today. and people change over time...and not always together. So any ideas of marriage on my part may take a while. But A female/best freind/lover with simular beliefs and interests,(and hopefully a few of their own) would make me a very happy man, and keep me around...and thats all thats really important to me. Personally I'm not looking for "A Barbie Doll" or "Arm Candy", just compatability. External beauty isn't that high on my list. Sometimes peoples beauty doesn't become apparent until you get to know them....then the warts and big ears seem to disappear ...but sure there's limits lol. It's the inner connection/knowing/friendship/beauty that I seek. Someone "I believe" truely Understands,Trusts and "Loves" ME.. NOT someone afraid of being alone, and their clocks running out.Ready to settle with anyone with a job. I'm looking for that magic that I know is possible between two people. Seems impossible to find,or know on here. Ok, I keep thinking it...time to say it...I'd guess about 80% of the womens profiles I've read say " They don't like game players". Is there anyone that does? I haven't seen anyone's profile yet looking for that. and my guess is saying that on here only puts the scent of "sucker" in the waters for more sharks in this little pond of fish. I tend to think people who say that....they think that way...and are themselves "game players". People who are jealous and suspicious all the time....think that way. and attract that into their lives.Unfortunately because this site is free there's going to be abuse. people are less likely to play games if its costing them money....Just be aware.read between the lines.and don't rush into anything right away.....I suppose that goes for dating anyone outside your circle of friends. There IS going to be players. There IS going to be wierdos/rapists/serial killers/scam artists/etc.There IS going to be women posing as men and vice versa. There Is going to be people you eventually discover aren't functioning with a full deck. There Is going to be people with baggage.that's life. They're in your home town as well as online....deal with it.It's almost like walking through the mall holding a big sign saying "I'm single and looking". Ha! Try that and they'll all be coming out of the woodwork. But I truely hope nobody has to filter through too many before they find their "connection". AND!!!! From what I've learned in life women are the biggest game players going. And usually 3 steps ahead of the man in a relationship I might add.I think a man in love, blindly follows his heart and desires, but it's the woman who pulls the strings, and decides.AndI don't know about other guys, but whenever I see a big list at the end of a profile of "must nots", I think ....ooOO{ there's no pleasing her}, and I move on. Sure dream big. But realise nobodys perfect, and there's almost always trade offs....and often in life, the things that pissed you off are the things you'll miss, or remember about them when they're gone. First date...Hmmm probably dinner and a show, maybe followed by drinks after......However that wouldn't happen until I've chatted long enough online to get some understanding of you. Followed by a brief meeting somewhere simple, like Timmies.
