I am a SCUBA *** I recently earned my Master's degree in Marine Biology. I LOVE the ocean and am extremely passionate about its conservation. I enjoy sailing and walking on the beach and would love to find someone with whom I can share these types of activities. Since I still feel and act like I am 32, I don't want to hang around someone who is "old" and constantly lamenting about the effects of aging...such a turnoff...;) Hope this doesn't sound too harsh but I figured I might as well be honest! For a first meeting, I prefer something casual like drinks and conversation. I am not very good at being thrown into these somewhat awkward situations, so I would prefer to meet with the expectation of forming a friendship before feeling like I am on a "date". Oh and I don't drink coffee! (I like tea, though...)

I'm a junkie, I admit it. I love speed, travel, new places, new food, new people. I like sports like skiing, ATVs, scuba, skydiving. My friends will no longer tolerate me shouting "Adventure!" every time we embark somewhere, but I always whisper it quietly to myself upon setting out. I know one person cannot possibly do it all, but I never want to be too old to try.I am very social and enjoy being in the company of others. I love having coffee with close friends. I like also having time for myself, and don't find it odd to go to dinner with a good book for a companion. I grew up in an arty- Random stuff on my storage device: B-I really need to contemporize my collection.Important to me are my adult son, family and friends. I think it is really important to love the work you do, since we tend to spend most of our waking hours on the job. I have had a lot of opportunities, and I feel it is my responsibility to repay in kind with volunteer work. I read newspapers and journals to stay abreast of local and international events, and I try to learn the opinions of people more knowledgeable than myself on these topics. You are the one who makes me want to sit quietly by and enjoy time's passing. Often you take the lead in adventuring. Ordinary domestic chores are interesting when the work serves to create a lovely home for us together. We like each other enough to overlook imperfections. (Please have some.). You agree it is good to have outside friends and interests, but it is great to come home. I love to cook. It would be fun to have a partner that enjoys doing that together. I like clean and tidy. Not a neat freak, so feel free to strew the newspaper all about the place. But also be prepared to do your share of cleaning up. Be interested. Be interesting. Be conversant. Please, share some of the same interests as me, I need a Partner. Everybody seems to have different ideas about this. I am flexible, and unlikely to change my skin because of who I am with, or what I am doing. My only requirement is that the venue allows conversation.
