We don't reach this age without life experience. Along with life experience comes baggage. Its how a person handles their "baggage" that will set them apart from the others.. The never ending questions: Did you learn from your mistakes? Did you grow from them and become a better person? Well I love animals, I have quite a few barnyard critters of whom I call family. We have all been together for a long time. I have horses and used to compete in AERC rides. It holds my heart. I love to fish, am a first year hunter I'm more of "oh its hurt lets fix it" person, however with the price of food my thoughts are changing to, "nummy here's dinner". I love guns and was learning to reload. Still want to learn more of that. I love working on my place. Its home and feels good to get out there and mow, cut wood, and fix fence etc. Anyone who has a house with property knows its a never ending chore. I love to laugh, tease, giggle and have fun. Love going to the movies, a nice restaurant on occasion and just having a good time. Fun doesn't require a ton of money. It does require a light heart, spontaneous attitude, and finding things to do that don't cost a fortune. However, I like to eat well, don't eat much of any fast food. I'm not a hard keeper or pricey kind of gal, more of a t-shirt and jeans person, but I do have that little black dress that has been itchen to be worn.I like cooking: I'm not great but its healthy, LOVE TO GARDEN, again not a master but it turned out pretty good this year.I'm looking for a man. A man who loves God and has values, integrity and morals. Kind, witty, gentle natured, out doors rugged type. A bit of a "man's man" but made for THIS woman. A man who takes care of himself, but is not conceded or arrogant. . A man who is a conservative. One who is honest. One who will communicate and share his thoughts and feelings both good and bad. And one who will make my heart jump when I see him. Doesn't matter if he is dressed up or just come off a tractor and is filthy dirty.With all this being said, please please please if you are into texting more then talking I'm not your gal. This is what I would like for a man to say to me someday, and I truly mean it... "This is the last, worthless evening, that you'll have to spend". I'm kind, hard-working, funny, very trustworthy, and a bit "Type A". I hate drama as I've had enough in past relationships and have resigned to run at the first sign of it! I enjoy going out and like to have a drink or two. My parent's have been married for 57 years which taught me the values of being loyal and faithful. I'm told I do not look my age. Each decade it's getting more challenging but at least I keep up the good fight! I teach different types of group fitness/aerobic classes throughout the week which helps me to stay in pretty good shape. I'm a great conversationalist so if you don't like to talk, pass me by. I'm full of energy and like to be with a man that is as well. I'm one of those people that if you take me to a party where I know no one, I will leave knowing most everyone...and I would like to think they were glad they met me! I get along very well with men and women and have many friends. I like most all people and the diversity that comes with.I worked for a non-profit organization for 17 years which taught me to be a very charitable person. I believe in giving back to the community. "Giving back" does the mind, spirit and body good!I would like to meet a man that is handsome, intelligent, successful, caring, funny, AND enjoys being active. But, I don't need the six-pack kind of guy anymore because then it's expected of me too! I would prefer someone that is college educated but that's just a preference. I understand that not everyone wants to go to college or had the opportunity to go. I had no choice! A good sense-of-humor is key! I love to laugh, make people laugh, and hear laughter. I'm a giving, affectionate person. I'm a lover, not a fighter. ;) I want that in return. I'm not on this site for a "hook up!" I'm way past that stage in my life.
