Not looking for a relationship? And at your age? What is wrong with you... I am a busy, responsible, independant mom of a 14 year old boy. He is my priority and I have him full time. I also want to mention I don't have the typical "every other weekend" off schedule that most single parents have. I have my son all the time since his dad lives out of state. Good thing he is a little older so he is pretty independent. Yes, I have a southern accent ; My friends and family would describe me as independent, honest, and quirky. I also tend to be sarcastic. I love to laugh - if you can make me laugh I might just keep you around. I'm also an animal lover - I have 2 dogs that I love and are like my kids! I like to stay in shape (and keep my sanity) by hitting the gym at least 5 days a week, and typically 6 or 7 days a week. I like a guy that stays in shape too. You don't have to live in the gym, but at least be active. ;-) I have been divorced for almost 10 years now, and really haven't had many long term relationships since. It's tough when you have a child full time. Most men just don't get it. Now that my son is little older and starting to do his own thing, it is easier for me to get away. I would love to get married again one day. Life is too short and I want to share my life with someone. My ideal man would be funny, successful, generous, active, and family oriented. . they say coffee is an interview, but I believe it's a good start. I think we will know within that short amount of time whether we want to see each other again.

I am happy with who I am and know I have a lot to offer the right man but am content being alone with my pets, my friends and my family until I find "the one" who excites me. It's hard to describe who we are and what we want with words, ACTIONS tell all (I guess this is where the disappearing guys get off on a technicality, lol). I'm really not that complicated. Hello! I'm a single mom who has been divorced for 3 years now. I tried dating last year, but found it a bit overwhelming. But I'm ready to try it again!! I love to go out and try new things. A fun night to me would be trying a new restaurant, drinking a martini, with lots of talking and laughing.) watch suspenseful movies and going on walks. Since my kids are pre-teen, I unfortunately listen to the music they are interested in, LOL. I love to get up super early and go on a long walk, and listen to an audiobook. Then coffee on the deck is a must!!And since I'm an animal lover, not being allergic to cats is a plus! I also LOVE Halloween so I love going to haunted houses!!I also haven't been to a "grown-up" movie in forever.....but I don't think movies make good first dates.
