I think options for a first date is based on the personality of the people going out. It could be something fun like go-cart racing, laser tag or mini golf. Or it could be something like a wine tasting or microbrewery tour or even as simple as just grabbing a cup of coffee or a beer. I don't think a movie on a first date is a good idea - I mean how can you get to know someone if you have to be quiet for 2 hours???

I can have fun doing just about anything if I have the right company. I love going to dive bars, having a few drinks, listening to a band. But I'm also just as happy staying in and watching movies or reruns. Breaking Bad, Big Bang Theory, Two and A Half Men. I have two young kids that I share custody of which leaves me with plenty of free time to share with someone. But that also means I have two kids that are a huge part of my life, so if you don't like kids, guess you have got to move on to the next one! I love all kinds of music, everyone says that, but I really do. I listen to rock, rap, a little country, pretty much anything. I am very outgoing and I tell it like it is. I am not into hook-ups, I want to find someone to spend time with. I want someone who is real, who will put in some effort. No bullshit.
