A little about me...I am a simple person and I am very family oriented. I have two kids who will be 16 y/o and 18 y/o in a couple of months and I try to spend as much time with them as they allow. I love being casual and wearing jeans, tanks/sweatshirts and flip-flops, but I also like getting dressed up and enjoying a night on the town. I like to be social and spend time with friends, but I also like to curl up and watch a movie or take a walk and enjoy the quiet. I don't limit myself to specific activities that I think I like or don't like to do...unless they involve heights....in that case, I'll need a little coaxing, but I will still consider it. :) There are many things that I have not had the chance to do or experience so I think it's unfair to say I wouldn't like them and not even give them a chance. I like to try new things so meeting someone with common interests is great, but meeting someone who can also share what they love to do with me is even better. I have a busy life like most, but I am more than willing to make time for someone I want to get to know better. What I'm searching for...this should be simple right!?! I am looking for a guy who is genuine from the start….someone who is funny, honest, understanding, driven, thoughtful and smart. A guy who loves his family and friends and takes the time to appreciate what life has to offer. I am not looking for a hookup. :/ I am tall so I am attracted to guys who are taller than I am and if you smell good that is a definite plus…I’m sure that sounded weird – haha! I love to cuddle and I love the simplest gestures a man can give…which mean the most to me. While I know there are a lot of nice guys out there, if I don’t feel that there is a natural chemistry or physical attraction, I’m not going to pursue the “more than friends” path. Honestly, I feel that it is a waste of time for both of us and just settling is not an option for me. This 'Dancing Queen' is 'Amie' and 'Who Are You'?So, if you've made it this far I hope you have a smile on your face and I can tell you a little more about myself. Obviously humor is important to me! My decision to sign up on here was to meet some guys, explore the area and have some fun! Obviously it takes time to get to know someone and I would want a great friendship to possibly develop into a committed relationship, but I am not in a rush and want to make sure that person is the best match for me and I'm the best match for them. I don't have kids, I got married with the hopes that I would but I don't and I'm okay with the fact that I may not. So, if you have kids, great if you are unsure about kids, me too, and if you don't want kids, well that may work for me as well. I enjoy quiet evenings at home just as much as evenings out. I enjoy decorating and working on projects in my new house. I like to get dressed up but can also get my hands dirty. I am the same size I was in high school and try to eat right and take care of myself but I don't believe in depriving oneself of life's pleasures! I like spending time outside, could be just sitting on the patio with a drink, huffing it up a mountain or throwing logs on the campfire. I like to think I'm adventurous and am open to new experiences and meeting new people. Never hurts to meet someone over a drink or cup of coffee. Drinks or coffee is always a good option, should be a quiet place where you can actually hear each other!
