On my own time I enjoy hanging on my front porch talking & laughing. Just hanging out with someone can be the best time! I like to go out to eat, but LOVE cooking! Music blaring, making a big meal stopping to dance with a dog now and then is probably one of my favorite nights. I love going to the shore, being by the ocean is where I'm the happiest. I like learning things, the 'hows' and 'whys' of how things work. I'm always thinking about something! :) I'm the furthest thing from high maintenance. I don't need 'things' to make me happy, I make myself happy by enjoying whatever I'm doing. I love going to comedy shows and the drive in movie theatre. I love my dogs and probably spoil them but their my buddies. I like doing things for people. I believe in karma and things happening for a reason. I've recently received my MBA and certificate in Social Media for Business. I'm finally getting to use them at work! Well, at my full-time job anyway... not so much in my part time job. Yes, I work two jobs, but manage to find time for the people that are important to me. I hope to find a reason to walk away from the part time job. In the meantime, the part time gig helps to fund my hobby. I love to travel and hope to see more of the world someday and am hoping to do it with someone special. I've also recently gotten into the gym thing and have completed two mud runs and a 5K. All of them pushed me out of my comfort zone and I'm looking to continue to do that in the future.

I am crazy into to music. My taste is very, very varied, I like anything that is good, well at least what I think is good, and really what else matters ;) This automatically eliminates 99.9% of pop, the .1% is made up by Bon Jovi, I think it's his long frosted feathered locks, they're hypnotic. I could probably fill up ten pages of my fav bands but to keep it short;I spent my "youth" chasing my creative dreams. I used to be very active in the poetry slam scene in DC. While writing is still a passion of mine, as well as devouring books. Now, I actually own a dog training company. I spend most of my days at the dog parks and hiking trails, if not getting roughed up by someone else's Rottweiler. I really don't have a specific type. Its people's differences that make them interesting. So, to limit myself by saying I am only looking for this certain type of person, is rather self defeating. However, basic things that are automatic turn offs are; not having direction, or not having a sense of self, machismo, and being disrespectful to others who are different than you.For the most part, I am a pretty laid back, open minded person who likes to be challenged and always speaks their mind. I'm rather sarcastic and I tease a lot but I really do have a huge heart.
