Like most people on here, it's hard to try to write about yourself without sounding egotistical or pompous. I'm here because I'm not much into the bar scene. To begin with, I work shift work (2 days, 2 nites, 4 off) so if you need your partner to be free every nite and weekend, I'm not the one for you. There are benefits to my shift if you take the time to find out. I play the bagpipes as member of the fire department Honor Guard and and hope that you will understand that I do travel to honor those who have made the ultimate sacrifice. I'm looking for someone who is honest, down to earth, caring, passionate and family oriented. We would have similar interests but you would also have your thing to do also. I don't have any kids but I do love them and would welcome yours with open arms.By the way, if your profile is written as if you are texting someone, I'm not interested. Consider me old fashion, however there is still something to be said about having an understanding of the traditional written language. I like to fish, camp, go on short road trips, take walks by the water, and make people laugh. I like amusement parks, target shooting, and driving through the country taking in the sights. Oh yeah forgot to mention flea markets. I am also a volunteer firefighter/EMT on my local F.D. and enjoy helping others. I would do anything for just about anybody if they asked. I work a 24 hour on shift and a 48 hours off. And every 3rd week I have Thursday - Monday off. So I have time to make that special person (whomever it may be) happy, make them laugh, and enjoy life with them. I like most types of music except the head bangin stuff. Don't have much family, but do like spending time with my grand daughter and grandson, and taking my nephews fishin'. Anything else you want to know about me just ask. I'm a down to earth guy who is tired of head games. We've all been there and done that. As you can see, I'm really into my car but I do have other interests. I love going out to eat at a variety of places. I'm an avid bow hunter and love to spend time outdoors. Quality time with my Frisbee fetish Doberman is always a good way to spend time. I really enjoy kicking back in the evenings watching a good movie. I like all kinds, from thrillers to drama. The only thing missing is a nice girl sitting with me sharing popcorn, pizza or Chinese. One place I love going is the Cruisin' Cuisine car show in late July. They have everything from wine tasting to beer and tons of food. it would be great to find someone to spend time with who has the same interests. You won't be disappointed!! My first date was a learning experience and I was educated at an early age.
