Hi! I am a professional writer, ***with an athletic build - I've played sports my whole life. So...loving sports is a must for me. :) I adore animals (also a must) and foster rescue dogs. At age 40 I understand I am probably not going to have kids via the traditional route if at all - I believe a relationship with your partner must absolutely come first before children should even be considered.My career goal is to continue writing and be self-supportive; I'm very good with money and financing. This helps as I like to travel (who doesn't?) and scuba dive.I think what makes me unique is I am extremely passionate and have been told I have a "childlike" response to life. I like that. It's important to have enthusiasm for life. I am easily entertained and can find fun in mundane activities. People tell me I am funny. As for flaws, I am definitely not a patient person (traffic, etc.), and I tend to overload myself until I get stressed out. That's when someone cool comes in to tell me it's going to be OK. :) Finally, it says to mention music ***Coffee/quick drinks are good for a first meeting (please call, texting is too disconnected). Would love to have a nice dinner outside somewhere, followed by some live music. Would also be fun to meet with our dogs in a park somewhere and have a picnic. This would also make my dog very happy. :)

I'm a transplant from upstate NY. I've been living in NJ and working in NYC for about 15 years. I spend my week in the city, but on the weekend, I like to spend as much time as I can outside. I like to garden and go to the beach, go to antique shows or find a garage sale. In the colder weather I throw pottery, make jewelry, work on renovating my house, or whatever else I can find to keep me busy. I think I have a decent sense of humor, but of course who doesn't think they are funny : ) . My humor tends to be witty and sarcastic, but I know enough to scale back when needed. I love to travel. Warm weather agrees with me. I like to be outside for cycling and tennis. The ride definitely pushed me to work on hill rides. Whew! I finished up the trip with a few days on the beac in Croatia.
