I ask if you want to go and have a drink somewhere. You know that I don't drink myself but don't mind if you do. We decide to go down to the Old market and walk around and see what we see. We stroll and window shop and trade stories. You take my hand and hold it as make our way down the street. The weather is wonderful and so are we. As we say good bye I'm still a little afraid to kiss you (it has been awhile for me) but you make it easy by leaning toward me, eyes closing, lips inviting. Tender, warm joy. I drive away thinking of you. I hope she liked me.
