FYI: If I wasn't interested before, I'm definitely not, after something crazy like that...I don't understand the concept of convincing someone you are right for them. I respond to those profiles or messages that capture my interest and ONLY I KNOW WHAT CATCHES MY ATTENTION. Of course, physical attraction is first but it requires a lot more to keep my attention. Looking for my own perfect combination...not perfection, because none of us are! Which includes; chemistry, looks, respectful, sense of humor, personality, morals/values, substance too. I prefer to keep a SMILE on my face and enjoy life! I am mostly a fun, loving, very social & outgoing, kind-hearted, sweet, strong, happy and down-to-earth woman with the intent to keep as much drama, away from my life, as possible. My life is not perfect and I've had my share of issues over the years so I worked very hard to cut out drama-filled people from my life. Don't get me wrong, I am very supportive of my loved ones and I know that in today's World, a lot of us have to deal with the Ex's concerning children, etc. I understand that but If you have continuous drama with Ex's/old girlfriends who are constantly calling and texting with all their issues or acting as if you're still together....Stop right here. I'm not the one for you. I raised my 3 children as a single parent; 2 are adults and out living their lives, and I have 1 teen son still at home. Also have 3 grandchildren. Yes, I'm a Grandma (still sounds odd but I love every minute of it, haha!). ***I can NOT have more children but have no issues being with a man who has children and treating them as my own. I love kids and family is extremely important to me. Family is always first! How a man interacts with his family is VERY important to me. My family is very close including parents, siblings, kids, cousins, etc. Although I have a big heart, I am not a pushover and have a very stubborn side too. I was raised as an Army Brat so I've experienced a lot of the world and I'm very adaptable in most situations and settings. You will probably never see my mean side but I assure you, it exists, lol! I'm definitely an outspoken and opinionated woman so if you prefer the quiet, soft type...we are probably not a good match.I spend most of my time working and with my family. My youngest is at the age, where it's not much fun to hang out with Mom anymore, so I find my free time has increased. When I have free time away, I'm out and about with my friends enjoying lots of things like; dining out, local hotspots, dancing, riding on the back of a Harley, live music, movies, shopping, shooting pool, museums, concerts, festivals, the parks, the lake or beaches in FL, etc. I love flowers, yard work (it's very relaxing and peaceful), hiking, bicycling, picnics, camping, cooking out, canoeing or even just sitting outside on the porch late at night watching the lightening bugs (aka fireflies, haha), Vacationing at the Beach, the lake, the pool...definitely a warm weather person and enjoy Spring thru Fall. Not much on Winter months, except for the Holidays with family and friends, but it is a great time to snuggle up :-) I am focusing on self-improvement and a healthier lifestyle. I'm making great progress, so far; getting ready to start back to College (again) to finish my degree, eliminating negative things/people out of my life, eating better, lost weight and working out..still some things to work on but I'm much happier now and I have my goals set on moving forward from here. I want someone who has some focus on improving their life too. Feel free to message and ask questions, only way to know if we might be a good match. Depends, very open on this, just treat me with respect, make me laugh and let's have a great time and get to know one another. Usually something short and sweet, like lunch, drinks, ice cream, etc. is a great way to start and then go from there. I love college football (Roll Tide), going to see live music is a passion, it's really the only time I go to bars, not a big fan of going to them...been there done that way too many times in my younger years and have the t-shirts to prove it. I enjoy going fishing, zip lining, hanging out with my friends and family. My family is very important to me and without them and my faith I don't know where I'd be right now. My parents are my heroes! My brother is pretty amazing too, he's an incredible Baptist pastor, so if we date I'll be dragging your butt to church with me on occasion. I just started taking a belly dance class a few weeks ago, it's a lot harder than it looks but I love it! I have a 5 yr. I'm a laid back person who is honest to a fault and worry about others more than I do myself. I enjoy doing things for other people, hate liars, kudzu freaks me out, don't like the smell or taste of burnt popcorn and hate cave crickets worse than any spider out there. I have a phobia of driving over bridges that go over water...I don't know why but if I have to go over one I'm going to be speeding. Can't believe I haven't gotten a ticket for that yet!! I have a good, sometimes warped and sarcastic, sense of humor. I have a great job that I love and it requires that I travel occasionally. If you want to know more just ask... No movies!! As much as I love a good movie there's no way I'm going to keep my mouth shut for over 2 hours when I want to get to know someone. Meeting for a drink and/or walk downtown is normally a nice ice breaker...
