Here I am again. Looking for someone to get me off of this site. I'm currently enrolled in college and that really takes a lot of my time. I have 2 daughters, ages 20 and 18, the youngest still lives at home with me. They have always been my life, and now that they are older it's time for me to go back to school and make a better life for myself. Things are going pretty good in life right now, and getting better all the time. Not much into the bar scene, I would rather set by a nice fire with family and friends. Like about all music, but still like my 80's bands the best!!!!!!!! I'll pretty much listen to anything though. If it's good it's good. If you want to know more just message me. First date needs to be something casual. Dinner, drinks, something quiet so you can talk and get to know each other.

I'm a somewhat recently separated father of four who never planned on hitting the dating scene at the age of 40, so I plan to start slowly (friends, casual dating, etc). That being said, I'm also open to whatever comes along. Basically, I'm trying to keep my mind open but my expectations grounded. By the way, I'm following the little meetville guidlines for this section, so if it's lame, or boring, or scripted...or if it in any way sucks...try to overlook it and withhold judgement. I'm career-oriented and love what I do, but nothing is more important than my family. My days start and end with the kids...getting them off to school in the mornings, and cooking dinner and helping with homework at night. I do take a lot of satisfaction in the fact that the kids are well fed with home-cooked meals and a lot of freshly baked bread (most of the time!). I also enjoy reading (mostly non-fiction, particularly history) and watching movies with the kids. I love the outdoors and used to enjoy hiking, camping, and canoeing, but haven't done much of any of these in a while. Hopefully I would find someone who might like to do some of these things together. Museums are cool, but I also like going out for dinner and drinks, and love to play pool and darts. And golf. I like golf, without being obsessed with it.Music? It would be easier to say what I don't like: modern country. I pretty much like everything else. What makes me unique? Maybe the fact that I'm nowhere near as boring as this description makes me sound. I'm actually a lot of fun once you get to know me...I'm really nice, and maybe not the first person you'd notice in a group, but I'm surprisingly fun, too. I think my ideal first date would be a drink and a game of pool. Or maybe a Walleye or Mudhens game. A coffee or lunch date would probably be alright, but sometimes I picture that being almost like an interview (which maybe it is, in a way). Honestly though, it's whatever you'd like. I'm really looking forward to meeting someone cool, and ultimately the venue will be far less important than the person I'm sharing it with (I hope!).
