I dont like most guys, I am not interest in most guys and perhaps that is what makes those few unquie individuals that I do connect with all the more special. Myself~ Restless, analytical, an opinionatedI am not afraid of a dirty joke, and can dish some out. I can be very out going but yet know when to stop and listen and take a breath. I am independent but far from feminist. Sracasm is a spice of life, I love when a guy know how to say things and make you smile. I love the bantering of two ppl in good fun. Timeless books and movies that make you wonder for days about whose side you are on, nice fire, nice conversation is what sound good to me right now. I do not watch much TV but with winter coming I do love to snuggle and talk.I am looking for a Man I can get lost in conversations with, just as easily as we can share one of those uncomfortable moments of silence in each other arms. I need a man who is confidence in who he is but yet is down to earth in his own skin. A professional confident person. Someone who can share passion and learn new ones together. Who isnt afraid to show me how he feels an at the same time who does not smother me. I think it is good to do things togehter but also to have time apart. Learning together not apart, encouraging each other when needed, a lover, best friend. think outside the box

Hi! I am a professional writer, ***with an athletic build - I've played sports my whole life. So...loving sports is a must for me. :) I adore animals (also a must) and foster rescue dogs. I have my own house and a solid career. Though I've had several longterm relationships, none have ended in marriage, usually because of distance ***moves for a job, etc. I don't think I was ready then, but I am now. Regarding kids, my profile says "undecided" but that's not true - I would love kids, definitely to adopt. But if you have kids and do not want more that's OK too. At age 40 I understand I am probably not going to have kids via the traditional route if at all - I believe a relationship with your partner must absolutely come first before children should even be considered. My career goal is to continue writing and be self-supportive; I'm very good with money and financing. This helps as I like to travel (who doesn't?) and scuba dive.I think what makes me unique is I am extremely passionate and have been told I have a "childlike" response to life. I like that. It's important to have enthusiasm for life. I am easily entertained and can find fun in mundane activities. People tell me I am funny. As for flaws, I am definitely not a patient person (traffic, etc.), and I tend to overload myself until I get stressed out. That's when someone cool comes in to tell me it's going to be OK. :) Finally, it says to mention music ***Coffee/quick drinks are good for a first meeting (please call, texting is too disconnected). Would love to have a nice dinner outside somewhere, followed by some live music. Would also be fun to meet with our dogs in a park somewhere and have a picnic. This would also make my dog very happy. :)

As long as there is a spark any ambiance suits me, yes of course a romantic candelit dinner, but a picnic on the beach late in the day is awesum too! Some wine & cheese n intense conversation or comfortable silence watching the ocean waves and sunset.Just mutual understanding and respect wud be great!
