I like to live my life by the following saying: Work like you don’t need the money, sing like no one's listening, love like you've never been hurt, dance like nobody's watching, and live like its heaven on earth. Explanation to follow (though a little out of order):Work like you don’t need the money: I love to work and have been known to define myself by my work. I enjoy work that is challenging and where I feel like I am making a difference, but have never really been focused on the money or getting to the top. I am content as long as I am progressing and growing. I have recently started working in management consulting focused on health care and analytics, which means I travel Mon-Thurs (has its pros and cons) and that there is plenty of work.Sing like no one’s listening, dance like nobody’s watching: I have been known to spontaneously burst into song or dance. This does not mean that I am great at either, just that they both bring joy to my life. I love the way that both make can take emotions to such a deeper level. I take Zumba classes every chance I get and enjoy the chance to go out dancing. I love almost all music. I am very close to my family and have a small circle of very close friends that may as well be family. This is where I spend the rest of my spare time.Love like you’ve never been hurt, and live like it’s heaven on earth: I love life and am thankful for every day that I have on this planet. This doesn’t mean that I don’t have bad days or that I haven’t been hurt; I just try to not focus on it. I have a deep and very personal faith, but do not necessarily define myself by any religion. I practice tolerance even when beliefs don’t match my own and try my best to love people for who they are. There’s more but I think that’s enough for now.

And since, have fallen in love with this city. I love the warmth of the first spring day, a crisp fall afternoon and the white sky just before a snow fall. There is something so amazing about watching the seasons change. I’m talkative, loud, and outgoing. But I’m also soft, sensitive and a great listener. I have no problem speaking my mind, but know when to bite my tongue. I pick and choose my battles carefully, as life’s too short to make a fuss about the little things. I love a good heated, passionate conversation as much as I like to talk about nothing for hours and laugh about it for days later. I find laughter absolutely contagious. I say “bless you” to complete strangers on the T…I am not overly religious I just think it’s a nice thing to say. I’d rather spend hours shopping for someone to find the perfect gift and watch them open it, than shop for myself. However I do most my shopping online, and preferably in my pj’s. I love, love, love LIVE MUSIC!! If I can feel the beat of the song pounding in my chest, I consider it a good show. I love animals but am terrified of spiders and snakes. I got into sports once I moved here, and played Fantasy Football this past year and enjoyed it probably more than a girl should. Family is extremely important to me, even though they can drive me nuts!! And I consider my friends the family I choose, and equally important in my life.I want someone that can communicate…or at least isn’t afraid to try. Someone that will not just listen, but will hear me too. He should be honest and fair and have basic respect for all people and things. It might be obvious to say this, but common sense is a must. A romantic at heart, but you wouldn’t know it looking at him. I’m looking for someone that can hang out with my friends and fit in. Someone that can meet new people and be okay with holding the conversation while I go say Hi to someone else. I want someone that can be silly and completely ridiculous just because it makes me laugh, but knows when it’s important to reel it in and be mature and an adult. He needs to be chivalrous and polite…the kind that gives up his seat for the elderly on the T. I want him to teach me new things and broaden my horizons, and be comfortable enough to allow me to do the same. Above all else, I am looking for a man that I am 100% at ease around, completely comfortable in my own skin with, as if we’ve known each other for years.
