I'd like to start off by saying that I definitely don't feel my age at all...not even close. I feel as if I'm still in my twenties, so being with someone that can keep up would be great. :)I'm a former Marine that served with great pride (active duty). I actually miss being in the Marines and would love to go back in if I could. I definitely don't like to be on the go all of the time but if there's a chance to do some outdoor activity, I do try to take advantage of it if I'm able to. Some things I enjoy doing are; adventure races, rock-climbing, mt. biking, running, crossfit, camping, hiking, beach/sand volleyball, soccer, etc....I can have fun and play hard during the day and get dressed up that same evening for a nice evening out. I also really enjoy having 'chill' days/nights at home and watching a movie. Materialistic things do not matter to me. There's nothing wrong with wanting to have nice things and wanting to be successful, but when the money and the 'things' end up becoming the sole focus of a person's life, it can definitely begin to control you, rather than you controlling it (them). I believe that I have strong feelings about this because of how I was raised, but mainly because I feel very blessed with the simple things that God has given to me - taking nothing for granted. I know what it's like to have plenty and I know what it's like to be in need. I absolutely love to help people and have a very giving and compassionate personality; therefore, finding greater joy in giving rather than receiving. Have fun searching! :)
