I'm loving, affectionate and funny. Too late to change it, but I'm actually 45 and my birthday is in March. I guess I am looking for someone to share all those couple things in life, going out together, snuggling up and just being there for each other!I would like to meet someone honest, trustworthy and happy - I like to think that is how I am! I am also quite romantic and like doing soppy things from time to time.I enjoy playing badminton and I like the outdoors for the occasional hike and camping. I like evenings in, watching a good film or going out to see a film at the cinema. I enjoy cooking and trying new recipes now and again but happily let you cook too or we can cook together. More to come later about me or if we end up chatting via ***, and by the way, this may surprise you, I'm not into football. Walking down the street hand in hand. . . oh yes.A little more... I enjoy the 80's and 90's music plus more recent artists too. Meeting up somewhere social for a drink....

I'm rather a creative individual, I enjoy writing children's stories, doing art and crafting things.Quite frankly I'm a bit of a geek.I'm a big fan of anything sci-fi or fantasy, and anything that is really imaginative.I adore meeting other creative people and swapping ideas.I've been on this site a few times over the years on and off and I've met some really nice ladies and it has been a privilege to have them become friends.however as I get older I'm finding that all I am getting is female friends, not that I mind but it would be nice to meet someone really special to share my life with, however I will admit that I'm a bit socially awkward. To be truthful I'm a bit out of touch with the dating scene. I guess since most of my friends have got married and had children I find it difficult to go out and socialise now.as a result of this I tend to spend my weeknights and weekends at home either writing or being otherwise creative.I have a five-year-old son who doesn't live with me and I see him fortnightly so this only allows me the opportunity to go out once every two weeks which once again doesn't really allow me time to socialise. It would be nice to meet someone who understood this, someone I could have long conversations with about all sorts of subjects as I do like to chat.Personality wise I like to think of myself as an old-fashioned romantic, witty a little shy sometimes and perhaps fun. I guess just keep it simple, a quiet place, a drink or two and plenty of time just to chat so as to be able to see if there is a romantic click or not.
