Hi. First off, let me clarify that I am not jaded in life just becoming jaded with this site. So, a little about me...I have a teenage son, whom I have full custody of. Haven't had much luck in my current pool of available options and a friend told me to try this site, I figured I didn't have much to loose. :-) I work 12 hours shifts, which is nice to the aspect of having half the month off and every other weekend. But doesn't leave much time to meet new people outside of work.I am single mom to a teenage daughter who is my rock. I am a pretty open person with a lot of interests, love the beach.. outdoors (perfect weather right now for an oyster roast). I enjoy all types of music, just depends on my mood ... anything from 60's-70's to pop, rock, country and some alternative relaxation tracks. Literally, there isn't a genre that I don't have some appreciation for so far.I am interested in something long term, but do not believe in just jumping into something... so with that said, I guess I am more on the dating side and if I find that long term person then great. Honestly not any good at this. Have talked to some interesting people, Live in a small town and looking forward to getting to know people that don't live here! lol. Raising my 3 wonderful kids that are the world! They keep me pretty busy with football, basketball, homework, etc. :) I'm pretty independent and don't have to have a relationship, but wouldn't mind finding a special person to spend some time with. I just am not giving birth to any more.Human nature is a decaying mass with a thin beautiful veil. People get mad when the veil is ripped off to reveal the decomposition beneath. Its easier to live with rose colored glasses that's for sure. Some have more experience than others, but there are others who'd rather live in a fantasy. I just want to live with someone that's HONEST! It's bad enough if you can't be honest in the real world, but the virtual world??? It is easy to become jaded, based on past romantic relationships that did not work out as planned. But, people should not give up on the hope of finding true love. To make it last, you must add respect, honesty, and trust.
