Just giving meetville a look-see: Best qualities I possess are those I would look for in a partner: patience, understanding, honor and having a true moral compass….all the good stuff that really matters.I prefer the mountains to the ocean, small crowds to large, favorite season is Spring. I do not judge a book by its cover - for me it's having that little "something" that attracts me the most. I'm an avid animal lover, I’ve got three cats and they run the house, but I'm not a crazy cat lady - I don't dress them up for holidays, prefer hiking shoes to heels, prefer my comfy jeans to dresses (but that's because a size 2 is hard to find), love working in my garden/yard (or my neighbor’s yards for that matter), Sunday drives down roads I’ve never been on, parks, anything to do with nature and much more. Let's face it, at this point in life we all have experienced emotional turmoil and heartache in a romantic relationship. It's never pretty, but hopefully (let me put on my rose-colored glasses) we all become better people by virtue of having experienced it/them. I have grown from having gone through it all, and have come to realize that I wouldn't be who I am today had they not happened so I look for the same in a partner. I've healed my fair share of lonely, broken hearts too (meaning theirs) so I look for someone who is not jumping from relationship to relationship because they cannot be by themselves. Home has to be where the heart is otherwise it’s just not a home.If I was asked to describe my dating style based on my driving style - well - I'm in the slow lane and I'm perfectly happy being there until the right person comes along, almost friends first before more can follow. I like being outdoors, going for walks or runs, gardening, biking or skiing. I also like quiet time around home working around the house or watching a movie.
