I am very stable, know what I want, have learned that the only way to have a relationship is by compromising and quit acting like our government is right now. I like football (Go Chiefs!) both college & I love to cook.I enjoy classic rock and some country, racing of all kinds, I dislike wearing a ton of makeup or jewelry, I'm not high maintenance in the least, but that doesn't mean I sit around in sweats all day either. I do have peripheral neuropathy in my feet/hands now but it's no big deal. It is a nerve illness and is not visible except on bad days when i need a cane to walk..I mainly drop a lot of things and can't open jars grrr LOLI have a big heart and am tired of it getting stomped on. I cannot recall where this came from, but it has stuck with me for a long time!Just a bit about myself, I am pretty easy going. I have a great life and I have a terrific son, family and friends! I am self employed and operate a business as well as have a small part-time business on the side. I absolutely love my jobs. I love working and I enjoy people. I want to laugh. I want to make you laugh. I like to dance, go to movies...but not horror movies...they creep me out too much. I enjoy watching them at home too. sometimes snuggling on the couch with a great glass of wine is amazing!Music is a pleasure to me. don't much care for rap, but everything else iis fantastic :) We have this cool little live music venue in my town that I love to go to. It's small enough that you can meet the artists and it is truly fascinating to talk to these folks and learn about their music. Food and cooking are important to me. I love to create new dishes and really like to have people sample them. One of my businesses is a Bar/Restaurant so I am always trying new stuff in the kitchen. Don't you want to be my guinea pig..LOL?In this industry, you would think that I would meet plenty of ":fish" in that giant Lake I look at everyday. It is hard to meet someone at work, plain and simple. I hear from men that they find me intimidating, but I just don't see that in myself. from my perspective, I am kind, generous to a fault, attentive, bright and amusing...and slightly amused most of the time:)Yes, I am looking for a relationship and someone to grow old with, etc., etc...but I would really like to date first. I am not one to jump in with both feet. I want to find someone who is a good friend. And it may seem old fashioned but let's take it a little slowly.At the same time, I would like to find that guy who can support me emotionally and mentally and will treat me with respect and learn to cherish me; we all derserve that....not just women, but MEN TOO! Someone who can challenge me and has similar values. We cannot know these things unless we go out on a date.... we cannot go on a date if we don't message one another.
