I am a country girl. I love to fish, mushroom hunt, garden, cook, sew, love a good beer, margarita, or a bottle of wine. I can cook anything and I am quite good at it. I am a mother first and suffered a horrific tragedy in December, lost my 18 year old son who was a senior in high school. My world as I knew it no longer exists. I have ok days and bad days. If I feel like laying around crying all day I do. I now ahave 3 adult children and 3 children still at home, 16, 14 and 10. I work part time right now but getting ready to go back to work full time. I love kids, animals, and Harleys but if you dont own one it is not a deal breaker. I will be a Grandma in October. I would love to travel more, Vegas, the beaches, a cruise etc.... Right now a getaway sounds good! Every one I know says I am like the strongest woman they know, looks can be decieving. I am strong willed(stubborn) and will not change my vaues or beliefs for anyone. I dont own a $***purse or much of anything fancy, material things mean nothing to me. . .I do get my hair and nails done and tan but fine getting hair messed up and dirt under my nails! Life is short, live it to the fullest and never look back and say could of should of, follow your dreams! Would have to decide!

I'm hopelessly optimistic. I'm excited about life. It really is an adventure and a gift that I try not to take for granted. I love travel, food, things and people who make me laugh, music ( I sing in a choir right now- would love to find someone to do open mics with me (know any guitar players?), and I love living the good life in the most over-the-top ways and, perhaps more so, in the most simple of ways. Relationships are important to me- family, friends, mother earth; and I really enjoy sharing experiences with others. I also value health and fitness which is reflected in what I do to make a living. I like playing tennis, beach volleyball, biking along the beach strand, going for an easy jog. I always enjoy trying new things- taking random classes, trying new restaurants, and traveling to new places. There is something to be said about the old reliable, too- going to a favorite cafe, going to a favorite getaway spot, going to see a favorite band play live for the Nth time, a lifelong friend. I appreciate the old and the new. I love the beach. I love feeling the sun's rays. And I can't be too far from the ocean for a long period of time. Maybe because I'm a water sign.-) to where I live now, and also living in HI and Sydney, Australia in between... Let's see what mood we're in and start with something laid back and comfortable for us both...
