*** I never date more than one girl at a time but I am still looking for local friends, hang out, activity partners etc... *** I have experienced a lot in my life form trying to get pick pocketed by an 80 year old lady (sorry too slow) and a 5 year old (still to slow... That's a fun picture if anyone wants to see, but I am a fighter and am pretty much back to full strength at the gym/exercising. Nevertheless, now I like to keep things as stress free as possible, hence the new country life (moved here Jan ***. I have done a lot of firsts this year, like hunt, eat the kill, ride a horse, watch cows give birth and get thrown from a horse superman style. I am still looking for that first country girl. Someone who can show me how to country dance so I can cross that off my bucket list too. I enjoy all comedies, cuddling and taking care of one another in a relationship while giving independence. Currently I am looking to just meet people and see where it goes from there. So if you are looking for an entertaining, honest and trustworthy cowboy impostor, that's me. In fact I am honest to a fault and don't like to play games. I have been in two long term relationships and countless others that didn't last 90 days. It's not because I am a jerk, in fact I am friendly with all the people I have dated except one crazy which is a story for another time. It's just that since I am so straight forward it is pretty easy to find out if things will work or not. Personally, my biggest issue/problem is that I am allergic to the chemicals in most scented products like perfumes. If you can deal with that, watch out cause the fall might hurt! Happy Fishing! All depends on the person but would prefer something outdoors, activity based or the good old fashioned lunch so if you hit it off there is plenty of time left in the day to do something else and if not I can still go home, pop in a movie and have a good night. Also I like to dance but never been two steppin'. If I am going to live here I got to learn. However, I do not own cowboy boots, so you can't be embarrassed by my footwear.

Are you tired of dating sites? Well, I am. Let's help each other rid ourselves of the need for them!ABOUT MEIt's exciting to plan and host an event. There's nothing like seeing my social and organizational skills come to life and provide everyone, myself included, with a good time. I'm about to move to a new apartment, and I can't wait to host my housewarming party!I accept people as I find them. It's not my place to change someone else or to force my expectations on them. I know I have my flaws and quirks, and I try to be open-minded and forgiving of the flaws and quirks in others as I hope they are of mine. I find this provides a good environment for open and honest communication, which is essential in a relationship of any kind, be it platonic, professional, or romantic.I see the future as an endless field of unknown and unexpected possibilities where anything can, and most likely will, happen. Every day is a chance to make one's life, and by extension, others' lives better.’Indoor activities that I enjoy include bowling or shooting a few games of pool with my friends (I’m not saying I’m good at these, just that I enjoy them), taking in a local band at one of the many bars that provide live music, seeing a movie, cabaret, comedy performance, or a musical in one of the city’s theaters.MUSICI enjoy most genres of music from Baroque to Hip-Hop, including alternative rock, techno, jazz, and pop. I like pop-like country, but not the “my wife left me and took my dog” country. I like some rap, but not gangsta rap. I have no desire to listen to music about killing police officers, beating women, etc.GOALSWhile I currently have a successful career in the IT field, my future goals include starting a for-profit IT and Professional Skills training company and, when that company is generating an income, to start a non-profit version of the same to provide IT and Professional Skills development to unemployed and under-employed individuals and little or no cost. I believe business, especially small businesses that are heavily dependent upon, and completely supported by, the local community have a responsibility to give back to the community in some way.WHO I’M LOOKING FORNow that I’ve shared some information about who I am, I suppose it is important to let you know what I’m looking for in a potential partner.Like my tagline says, I’m looking for someone who is secure, happy and semi-sane.Emotionally Secure: I don’t want to date someone who constantly wants to know where I am, what I’m doing, who I’m with, etc. If you can’t trust the person you’re dating, do yourself a favor and find someone you can trust. In return, I will be as honest and as loyal to you as we have agreed to be with each other.Financially Secure: I’m not a sugar daddy. I’m happy to pick up the bill on a date, bring flowers, and show my affection in many little ways, but I’m not paying someone’s rent or buying them a car. I am looking for an equal partner, not someone I need to raise into adulthood. Hopefully if anyone is going to be raised into adulthood, it’ll be our child if things progress that far!Happy: Your happiness can only come from within yourself. If your happiness is dependent on someone else, then you have chosen the wrong person to trust with it. I can be happy whether I’m single or not, and you should also be happy with yourself and by yourself. That said, two people can certainly enhance each other’s happiness when they’re together, but neither should completely depend on another for their happiness.Semi-Sane: Well I’m only semi-sane, and let’s face it, if we were all completely sane, life would be incredibly boring! I like taking a walk on the wild side and acting purely out of impulse and spontaneity. At least as long as it doesn’t end up with us in jail for a felony anyway. A misdemeanor might be ok as long as the fun we had was worth sitting in a cell for a few hours until we can arrange our bail!Having read several of the profiles on the site, and the frequent appearance of such statements, I want to make it clear that even though I’ve selected, “I want to date but nothing serious” in response to “Intent,” this doesn’t mean that I don’t want a serious relationship. I just don’t think “serious relationship” is where a serious relationship starts. It also doesn’t mean that I want a one-night stand or a purely physical relationship. In fact, I emphatically do NOT want either of these. I just want to find some people with whom I have some things in common, spend time enjoying those common interests in each other’s company and getting to know each other and see where that leads. I’ve tried to force relationships to work before, and that is just simply impossible and the wrong approach to take.On a similar note, I have too much respect for myself, and for you, to waste my time and energy just looking for sex here, or on any dating site. There are enough prostitutes in this city for the men who think that way, and they take a lot less time and energy to convince. If you get messages from men like that, you might want to direct them to the red light districts so they can stop wasting your time.CONCLUSIONWell if you’re still reading, I must not have bored your terribly with this thesis-length essay so I just have one question: Why are you still reading *** sending me a message? Thanks! When you’re out with your friends and someone suggests getting something to eat, what usually happens? Usually it starts with, "Where do you want to go?" and the answers from the group are just as commonly, "I don't know," "anywhere," or "it doesn't matter to me." It seems hard for the group to make a decision on such a simple thing. When that happens with my friends, I offer up three suggestions and see if anyone has a strong preference for one, or if there is a consensus for one. Therefore, I'm going to apply that logic here as well.Option 1: We meet at a coffee house and talk about things we’ve done and enjoyed, and things we hope to do with our futures.Option 2: We meet at a restaurant with a bar for dinner, and follow dinner with conversation over a few drinks.Option 3: We meet at a bar with some live music, but sit far enough away from the speakers so that we can hear each other and converse with each other with the music as background and maybe have a dance or two.
