Welcome to my profile! If there are palm trees and ocean breezes around me there will always be a smile on my face. I'm trying to find that special person who will want to experience that with me and much more. I'm generally a happy person who works in information technology during the day (finding solutions, making decisions), goes to the gym (or plays tennis) after work and enjoys ***hours of sleep after catching up with friends and family. Weekends are usually filled with "stuff" which is always more fun to do with other people. When the weather is warmer I'll take long weekend trips to CT to visit friends or to PA/NJ/FL to visit family. Movies are cool, museums can be nice but I'd prefer to just be with someone to hang out and chill, go out to eat, take a nice drive, people watch and share thoughts. There are peaks where I'll be on a mission to find something for the house and will want to spend weekends searching craigslist for that perfect new-to-me item or hunt yard sales in the spring time for nothing in particular. Other days I'll go to the spa and relax and pamper myself. I always have vacations planned - generally cruises to the Caribbean - much more fun when shared with that special someone but I've also gone by myself, with a large group or for a girls' getaway. Last year I went to the US Open (tennis) for the first time in NY and was in heaven so that is on my list to do again this year as well as try to get to a tennis camp either for a week or a long weekend. I'm a product of the 80s so can still listen to new wave music endlessly but I have pop and techno for my cardio workouts - am totally open to classic rock, hip hop, jazz, reggae. HGTV, DIY, NICK and the Tennis Channel are usually on the TV. I am a lightweight when it comes to drinking so tend to pass, when out (and driving) but will indulge while on vacation. So if you have read this far, then you will be happy to know that a healthy sex life is all part of this balance too. Chemistry is very important to me and I believe people know within the first few seconds (or minutes) whether there is that primal connection... because of that, coffee / appetizers / drinks may be the best way to meet up with someone. Starbucks is cool or Panera but so would a nice place where you can hear each other talk - the lobby bar at the W downtown is nice and dive sports bars are fine too. The date after first meeting is more important - a nice seafood restaurant, a movie at home - that's the beauty - I'm easy going and flexible. Looking forward to spending time with you.
