I love meeting new people, but I do realize I am in the wrong part of the country for where my interests lie and what I'm looking for. I don't care much for this place, never have; but there's work here right now. This place is a nightmare for a single person, with no kids, that doesn't drink. My job keeps me busy right now though with some crazy hours. I like it that way, seeing how there's nothing else to do here anyway. Might as well work 80 hours a week and make some money. This place really lacks any kind of motivation, training, education and sense of community. Nothing ever happens and there's never any activities. I have yet to figure out what it is that these people do here besides drink, shoot stuff and gossip. This place is so slow paced, it's almost hilarious at times. It's not laid back, it's done laid down to rest I guess.What I'm looking for is an intelligent, career minded, goal-oriented woman that knows what she wants and can be faithful. I am tired of married women pursuing me and women that have some psycho boyfriend lurking around.I am my own person, I don't follow the herd and would like to find someone that's on the same page as me. Hello... I work as a Systems Administrator for a renewable energy company. It's not the most exciting of jobs but I do like what I do so I am not miserable every day when I come home. Although when I tell someone what my company actually does I normally get a lot of questions. I go to school part-full time depdending on the classes that are being offered. Being in the technology field I will always be in some sort of school. Besides it always helps if there is a better opportunity or promotion being offered. I am a single parent, I have joint custody so I have her half the time. I also am at every game and practice and volunteer to help out with whatever activity she is participating in, what I am saying is that I am an involved in all aspects of my daughter's life. I am a dog person and own 2. I also like other types of animals but figured 2 dogs is enough for now. I love to laugh, I make innappropriate jokes at times. Sometimes I miss the filter... All my friends find me hysterically funny so I can't be that bad, right? I like acting goofy and I don't mind embarrassing myself to make people laugh. I have a young daughter so I know where the line is...I think.POF suggests putting your music tastes up here but every profile I have read it has said "I like all kinds of music." I like to do many different things and I always like to try something new. I like to workout and stay in shape. I run in a few races throughout the year (5Ks, 10 milers, half marathons...etc). I like going to baseball and football games. I love going to comedy shows. I have mountain biked, rock climbed, hiked, gone on ghost hunts, played social sports, ice skate (with my daughter)...etc. Basically I like to stay active. But I don't mind staying in at all and watching a movie or playing a rousing game of parcheesi or some xbox kinnect. What I am looking for...hmmmm. Someone who is independent who, if things work out, wants me in their life and doesn't feel that they need me. Someone who is secure. And of course all the typical things like attractive, honest...etc I am a giving person, and from what I have been told my biggest flaw is that I always put others before myself.
