Well, I'm bit new on this here, I was on it months ago. Let me introduce myself, my name is Janine aka Jay. I'm deaf, proud of it. I have two cochlear implants that helps me to hear, basically it's like hearing aids but more advanced and digital kind. I work hard daily in long beach/island park. I love music, hanging out with friends, road tripping, shopping, fishing (fishing is my die-hard hobby, I fish all summer to catch flukes, blue fish, sand sharks which of course I release them back.), watching sports, etc as I can go on. I'm very much involved in both worlds which it's deaf and hearing. I balance it well socially. I'm shy, laid back, drama free, honest, down-to-earth, hopeless romantic, funny, werid (in a good way), my motto everyday is live to the fullest, love it, embrace it with family and friends, because tomorrow might won't be there.
