I joke a lot, but seriously, at this time in my life, I'm looking to find someone to share exciting and everyday times with me.Someone to climb the next mountain, watch a movie, play board games, go on road trips, wash the dishes, do my laundry, take out the tras.... I mean...I'm sorry, I would never want you to watch a movie if it's going to get in the way of your chores. ;)If you can't tell already, I'm different than most guys. Which makes it difficult to get past a certain point in the dating process...which is my reason for being here(and I work graveyards). I find most women to be very skittish and red flaggy about things guys say or do, and you can bet I'm going to say and do things that aren't going to fit in any predefined category. So if I say something to you that doesn't make sense or sounds odd, it's not that I'm being fake or I'm a total psycho or anything like that. It's probably that I'm just being me and that's to my own drumbeat. Once people get to know me, they usually find that I'm not really THAT weird...I just don't hide the strange things about my character like most people from the start....no, nevermind, they do think I'm THAT weird. But then I've drawn out their inner weirdness by that time, so there's no turning back. ;)I don't do well with people that hide their feelings and let things fester inside or try to be vengeful to get even. …and I'm also not a fan of inflated egos,or endless tests or lies for attention. Trying to see how much you can drive me crazy wanting you by playing games or making stuff up will probably have the opposite effect with me. I need to know someone well before I fall in love them. Love at first sight has the high probability of making a bad relationship since you never got to know the person to see if you're compatible before falling in "love"...and also I believe that's more of a projecting type of love, where you're projecting what you want onto someone's character, and not the reality of them. I can be "into" someone though, if I want to get to know them better. It's also not the most important thing to me what your favorite music, movies, or hobbies are. They make good conversation points and are nice when you do have them in common, but I'm certainly not going to make that my top criteria to have to base a relationship on. I'm more interested in how we get along, your character, attraction, and what you want out of life. :)One last thing, even though sex isn't everything, we'd all be lying if we all didn't want a good sex life. So I'll put it out there that I know how to keep things happy in the bedroom. :) We'll get our swerve on at the club, and then come to my place and chug diet root beer with my cats until we pass out, then puke up hairballs in the toilet with them the next morning, wondering if we broke some Ménage à Sïx, cat to human to cat cat to cat to human laws the night before.

For me this is always the most difficult part. My kids moved here about 4 years ago, which limited the amount of time I was spending with them. Within the last 6 months I decided to take a leap of faith, leave the teaching job that I loved, to be with them full-time. So far the decision has been the best one I've ever made.As far as hobbies, I'm a sports fanatic. I love watching sports, whether it be my favorite teams or my little boy, attending sporting events, or playing in them myself. I love to cook. Before teaching I was a chef, so I do know my way around the kitchen and the barbecue. I'm also an avid reader, mostly reading about conspiracies, politics, and other crazy stuff. Even though I had to return to the restaurant business, I do hope to find a teaching/coaching job. So many opportunities here, I just need to meet the right people. Ideally, I'd love to meet some new people and make some new friends. I have a very outgoing personality, I'm extremely caring, and I go out of my way to help others.
