First off I have to say that I'm first and foremost looking for friendship with someone cause I firmly believe that any relationship needs to first be based on that. I'm not looking for "hookups" cause I just don't behave or act that way. So if you're truly interested in getting to know me for me... I can't take smoking..I'm sorry if this is something that you do but it really bothers me and it's not something I want to have around my kids if it were to turn into something serious. I want to find someone that can teach me new things and I can teach them new things. Someone who is motivated to do more then to just sit at home all day every day. Don't get me wrong...some days it's nice to just sit at home, curled up with that special someone and watch a movie or just talk while sitting by a fire during the winter. I don't care what I'm doing with someone as long as we're enjoying each other's company.

I'm also open to just making friends if it works out that way. I've never been married, and I do hope to be someday soon-ish, but would rather be single than dating the wrong person. I'm willing to wait as long as that takes. I live in the mountains and can hold on my own on a hike or camping trip. I love the outdoors and I love to explore. However, I also enjoy a night downtown at a nice restaurant or bar and look great in heels. ;) My faith is very important to me, and I would only date someone who shared those basic beliefs; I am a teacher, but am not working full time yet.
