updateOctober 18th ***Hi guys! It seems my visiting this site recently has put me at the top of the viewing list as I have gotten many responses lately and I thank you all for doing so. I have hesitated replying back to any of the messages because a couple things have changed for me recently, very recently, and I fear is that those changes may not be those charicaristics you want in the person you are looking for. In reviewing my profile everything is pretty much the same as when I originally put this online about 6 months ago except for the fact that a couple months ago my boss decided to replace me with a computer software program. Hope that is working out for him but I have found being unemployed is one of my least favorite things in the world to be. Because in the past I have not been the kind of gal who saved money for an emergency...I am now finding myself in more than a bind. I could describe this but it's kind of depressing and quite frankly I'm not looking for a pity party. It's actually very embarrassing to admit this. So, what my primary goal in giving everyone this update is to be honest and let you know there is a real possibility you may not think I'm so great right now and may want to check back in a couple months. Hopefully, I will be back to my normal my happy go lucky self having shed this rain this quite massive raincloud that's over my head. Lets start off with the preliminaries, shall we? ***About Me***I am in my mid forties, 5’4, reddish brown hair – fairly long, have bright blue eyes, and my weight and height are proportionate. We all have things if given the opportunity we may change about ourselves, but overall I like what I see in the mirror. Happy to say that once in a blue moon I still get those random "Hey Baby" glances so it seems there are others that like the view as well. I have been divorced a long time and raised my 2 daughters as a single mom. Proud to say they are 26 and 27, each forging their own paths in this world. Yes..they flew the coupe and I now have all this time on my hands. Even though my boss LOVES the production,I am not continuing down that road of "all work and no play". Work is something we do (for obvious reasons) not who we are. So..not being the kind of gal that hangs out at bars by herself, or dates people I work with, I thought this would be as good a place as any to see if I may meet someone special. Yes..I admit it. I am hoping to be saved from another friend or family member setting me up on a date with SOMEONE THEY KNOW THAT WOULD BE JUST PERFECT FOR ME (roflmao) Although I do cherish friendships, my goal is not to be a career dater. I am really wanting a committed relationship should the right guy come along. I would love to connect with someone to enjoy life with, to share laughter with and crave physical intimacy from (yes that is important to girls too!) I hope to find a relationship based on mutual respect with true and honest consideration for eachother. Communication is always key but I want to share a comfort level where times of complete silence are not awkward but embracing. I want that true friendship that encourages our individualities. Lets see here,I dont have any emotional baggage I carry around, I don’t nag, am definately not a drama queen. I am not a psycho, not a gold digger, and frankly not a very good cook. (Terrible would best describe my cooking ablilities) I listen as well as I speak. I like to be goofy and playful and have a bit of a warped sense of humor. On whole - I am an optmistic person (tempered with that little bit of skepticism that age has bestowed). I love scary movies – but can’t watch them alone. I love music – it is a foundation for me. I care about my appearance. I have manners and am comfortable in just about any social setting. I love being feminine and seek strength in a man (verrry sexy). If or when conflict arises, I always try to put myself in the other person’s shoes in attempt to see the other point of view. I will occasionally have a cigarette, and drink socially. If this in anyway is offensive to you, we will not be a good match. About you: You are between 47 & 55. You are intelligent, funny, goofy, strong, compasionate, patient, some-times compulsive, confident, and enjoy life. You are hopefully a little taller than me so that on occasion I can wear a pair of heels and not tower over you. You don’t have a difficult time showing affection to someone you feel worthy of receiving it. You care about your appearance. You have pride in the work or job you do – regardless of what it is. I really don't know what to say...I have never done this before. I love kids, animals and the outdoors. I like to camp, the beach and day excursions. My family is my life, but they are older now and have their own lifes to keep them busy. I find myself wishing for someone to do things with and spend time with. I believe it's what's inside a person that counts, not the outside. I would like to get in better shape myself and am trying to do that, but it's a long process. If you want someone to spend time with, I may be that person. Our first date should be somewhere we feel comfortable getting to know each other. A park, a restaurant or somewhere local.
