After reading many profiles on meetville I've become quite disheartened at the prospects of finding a "quality woman" online. So many profiles read as laundry lists of needs and expectations. I just read a profile where someone had certain expectations for responding to ***, spelling and spell check requirements, thoughts on using "winks", requirements on the length of a response proportional to a received *** I'm not kidding) as well as host of other do's and don'ts. If butterflies use the beautiful coloration on their wings to attract mates I can't help but think some of you may still be stuck in your cocoons. Other profiles say "no shirtless photos" but then come right out and say you need to be athletic and buff "ooh I'm looking for a sweet and sensitive guy".....ugh.When did getting to know someone fall out of style? When did the quality of someone's character take a back seat to all these shallow, materialistic needs ? Ladies...if you're interested in a real relationship with a real person who has faults, who bleeds when cut and who hurts when wronged then I'd love to meet you. I have but one thing to ask of you. I don't care what you do, where you work, how much you make or how many guys may have wronged you in the past. You and I are going to start fresh. I only ask that you invest a little bit of time to get to know me. Im physically active and eat healthy but in the end, as we grow old together, what's going to keep us going is the bond we form...that mental connection. I hope there are least a few quality women out there that know and are looking for what's really important in life. To the girls stuck in the confinement of your cocoons, I hope you emerge one day more beautiful than when you went in.
