I also, when I have time, Crafts, cooking, shooting pool (I suck at this but like it anyway) I like to laugh and make people laugh. I like roaming thrift stores and flea markets. I have had my fill of hook-ups, they leave me feeling empty and unsatisfied.I won’t say I am looking for a “relationship” but I am not avoiding one either. Everyone wants to be loved and I am no different. Even though I am very open minded and believe if I were to be in a relationship it would have to be a very open, I am still basically an old fashion girl…..I still want romance and not just sex. JIf I am looking for anyone it would be someone who: Still believes in opening a woman’s car door and pulling out her chair; Still believes that its up to a man to call and ask for a date; Still thinks that slow dancing and holding hands is a big turn on; Someone who thinks the first kiss is still a big deal and should be soft, slow, wet and last for days… Someone who still believes romance is still in style and belongs in even the most casual of relationships. I miss some of those little things from being close to someone. Like goofy text throughout the day that make me smile. Standing at the sink washing dishes when he comes up behind me to give me a gentle kiss on the back of the neck. :)FYI, I love flowers all but roses, especially red ones. I think they are lame and unimaginative. I hate the thorns too. :) I'm not sure I like the first date thing, too much presure. I would rather have a first meeting and just go very casual, somewhere for drinks where its not too loud so we can get to know each other or shoot pool. The big things should come later.

I am so lucky to have a career I love, friends who bring out the best in me, and a family who supports me unconditionally. Now, all I am missing is a wonderful man to share my life with. I am very passionate about my career as a teacher because children never cease to amaze me. However, I also thoroughly enjoy many activities aside from teaching. In order to stay in shape and balanced I enjoy dancing and yoga. I also go to the gym occasionally, and just ran my first 5K! I love everything about sports - watching them on TV, attending live sporting events, and even participating! (If you are also a sports fan you might be able to figure out where I got the idea for my headline :***If I wasn't a teacher, I would definitely want to be a singer! Music has always and will always connect with my soul. Music helps me celebrate when I am feeling happy and it is my medicine when I am sad. As far as what makes me unique, I think you will be able to determine that fairly quickly. Well, if you are still reading my profile, I will let you in on one of the things that make me unique. I am very laid back when it comes to how I am spending my time. Truly as long as I am with the right company, I can be perfectly content doing a variety of activities. Thus, I would say the perfect first date would be somewhere that we both enjoy, and can have a good conversation.
