So many people can just get away with sense of humor and looks and maybe honesty but theres so much more to trying to be comfortable but also putting your heart in a relationship nowadays. For the past few years I have learned to put others needs before mine by helping people find love or fix what couldve been broken... I want nothing more in this world than to see people happy and it disheartens me to see anyone go through any of the pain or hurt that I have been through in my past. So I live by the standard of three things that are asked and needed of any relationship (friendship or the potential of love) to survive: honesty, faithfulness and respect. HONESTY: if you cant be honest with the person you are with when it comes to the smallest of matters, even when it comes to something as simple as: "where you at?" "what are you doing?" "who are you with?" (even in passing conversation***when it comes down to it and you are faced with an important topic and you are even "backed in a corner" are you gonna choose the right path and be honest or are you going to lie and save face? FAITHFULNESS: this is very big for me... faithfulness does not cover the physical aspect of it but the emotional ideals behind the word. If you can feel in your heart what you do is not right and you are in fear of getting caught because one of his/her friends sees you, he/she is at the mall and passes by in a car or even your heart feels uneasy after the fact - YOUVE DONE WRONG! OR YOURE DOING WRONG! What makes things worse is when you have no feelings youve done wrong - then youre just a psychopath lol RESPECT: this is another good one... if you cant respect yourself and your family FIRST, then you cant respect me... and the thing is if Im any kind of a man, I WANT YOU TO RESPECT YOURSELF AND YOUR FAMILY BEFORE ME... because I should care that much about you... that my respect for you. Point Im trying to make, its great and wonderful and someone that has a sense of humor, looks beautiful and is honest are great traits to have but there needs to be more to make that person worth the time and effort.
