My headline is part of a quote by Tiffanie BeBartolo. "Anything less than mad, passionate, extraordinary love is a waste of time. There are too many mediocre things in life to deal with and love shouldn't be one of them." :) ME: curvy/heavy set but ACTIVE, employed, sane, sensual, devoted, forgiving to a fault, love to kiss in the rain, confident, trusting, I believe in traditional family roles YOU: kind, employed, not a criminal, not into drugs, God should have a place in your life, sensual, adventurous, independent but considerate, in control with out being controlling, (bonus - i love facial hair lately, must be the testosterone!)Most importantly for a successful relationship I believe WE should equate commitment with freedom. (Thank you, Alanis!)I read this the other day and think it rings true for what we are all searching for, and yes, it's corny and heavy. But I like it!Love is the unconditional support of someone's soul. It is the unshakable desire to see them become what they were meant to be, yet accepting of who they are now. It is unmoving, and remains when all else is gone - whether that is youth, health, mind or even life. (I warned you, I'm a hopeless romantic.)first meet would be simple, a coffee or a drink - quick/no pressurea first real date: ferry ride, walk on the beach, hmmmm...

Winter is a nice time of the year in my opinion. I am busier in the other 3 seasons with volunteering at two non profits, taking road tips within a day's drive, kayaking Lake Nockamixon and working in my yard. The past 30 years of living has given me memories that will make me smile when old age kicks in, lol! I worked in my college degree field for 19 years; lived in Ohio for this position, marriage ended and I moved back here where I grew up. That was 10 years ago and I have been at my present job for 9 years. Today, I am there for my son, look in on my aging parents and renovating a century old home I bought 2 years ago. .My focus is on today and tomorrow. The rest of time marches on and takes care of itself. Right now I am simply looking for companionship. If it turns into more, that is good, but I am not looking that far out.Best wishes in your search for that special someone who makes you smile too.We could talk about that.
