Hi, how's it going, thanks for checking out my profile.I'll tell you a little about myself. I work for the government working on promoting alternative sources of energy which I find interesting. I studied Political Science in school, I follow current events quite closely. A lot of my free time is focused on music. I play guitar and sing in a band. I work hard at writing songs. Currently I'm learning how to read music for guitar. I used to play sax as a kid, but reading more than one note at a time is a new challenge for sure. My band's recorded an album, and I also record demos at home for fun.I like a lot of indie-rock, folk, alt-country, some jazz and a bit of classical. I also really like Motown and 60's soul stuff. I like some hip-hop, but I'm not very knowledgeble about it. I really like Kanye West and Outkast. I'm a huge Wilco fan and this past summer I was really getting into The Replacements.I don't follow sports too closely, just maybe a bit of hockey playoffs and the Olympics.I'd rather play a sport than watch it for sure. I like tennis and squash, and I'm starting up in a ping-pong league next week. Don't laugh, ping-pong can be intense if you're good! I also like cycling, downhill skiing and kayaking.What else...hmm...I like movies at the Bytowne. Going to see bands. I like different kind of restaraunts, Thai, Indian etc..Not really a foodie though as I don't really need high end all the time (but it's nice on ocassion). I don't drink, so I find talk about wine pretty boring. I like hanging out with friends at a pub though, not anti-alcohol by any means. I'm interested in meeting a smart sexy woman with some common interests who can also introduce me to new ideas and activities. I don't want to make a list of requirements; because I want to be open to possibilities to see what happens. I know someday I will meet the one that just knocks my socks off and I can live happily ever after. Life is supposed to give us a challenge, it is what we make of it and how we live it that counts most. We all have memories from our pasts, some good, some not so good. But, my mindset is on the memories I wish to share with that special someone in my future.
