I decided that I would start my profile off with an amazing quote, then get into the good stuff..."True love isn't easy, but it must be fought for because once you find it, it can never be replaced."Here I come to the wonderful world of online dating yet again! (Applause)Thank you, thank you. It's great to be back (Why on earth am I trying this thing out again?).I would think after the last two times I've been on this site I would have met an amazing woman.Does anyone else think those meetville and meetville TV spots are incredibly chessy and completely set up? I do. (I really, really, reallllly hope that I don't have to resort to that.)Like everyone else on this site, I hope to find someone special. The one woman, who brings out the best in me everyday, who with one look, one touch, one kiss, can my heart melt or turn a bad day completely around. A woman who feels she is incredibly lucky to have me in her life and knows that I'm the luckiest man alive to have found her.Basically, I'm looking for my best friend. (If she is out there or you happen to know her, please point her in my direction. I think she may have gotten lost and I can't seem to find her.)(If you are still interested at this point, keep reading, if by some amazing chance you are scared out of your mind, turn back now!)As, I was saying...Someone that could and wants to spend the rest of her life with.A woman that could love my son, and want to have more children with meThat doesn't care about how much money I make or if she makes more than I do. That enduring passion and spark that should never go away. What can I say, I'm a romantic.(If you have reached this point and you are still intrigued by all means please continue reading, it gets better!)I'm the guy your Mom wants you to bring home (or so that's what my Mom tells me). I was raised to be a gentleman and to always treat a woman with respect. I was also taught that chivarly should never die. That's right ladies, I still open doors, and all of the good things that comes with being chivarlous including impecable table manners!I'm the oldest of 3 boys, to the most amazing and wonderful parents you will ever meet. Also, my parents have been married for 39 years this January. I am the proud father of an amazingly handsome, adoreable, and bright 5 year old little boy. His smile and personality light up my day!If you ask any of my friends or family about me they would hopefully tell you that i'm funny, romantic, goofy, caring, silly, well-spoken, loveable, gentle, occasionally stubborn, but most of all a well-rounded guy with a good head on his shoulders. Some of my friends and family might also call me the King of Useless Knowledge. I'm also a big sports fanatic, but won't let it consume my day. I'm a die- It must be genetic. I'm also a big Angels fan, and try to make it to at least a handful of games during the season.I love going to Vegas! I am down for a trip at a moments notice! They are just so pretty! I'm also a big kid at heart and enjoy those wonderful trips to Disneyland. I really enjoy the holiday season when everything is decorated so festively.Ok, so if i'm leaving anything out or you want to know more then by all means shoot me an e- Who knows it could be your last first e-There is never a second chance for a great first date or good first impression!

Until an actual dialogue is started I know I’m not alone in finding online dating rather impersonal and artificial. I personally find the number of people here overwhelming. In the face of potential rejection and an aversion to rejecting others, the whole process seems like needless stress. Not often, but occasionally, I do meet someone where a real connection is made and everything is comfortable, natural, as if two pieces of a puzzle have found each other. Unfortunately the last two people this happened with were already married (this occurred off-site). But my presence here will increase my odds of meeting someone, yes? And despite how daunting this site may seem at times, I can step back and realize that I’m only looking to find one person.I never really know how to fill out these profiles. I feel the questions asked (in the Chemistry questionnaire, etc.) change with circumstances and from one time to another. I’ll try to just be as authentic and candid as possible. If my future soulmate is reading this, then I should write more rather than less. I’ve found that sometimes one piece of information can be off-putting to one person, while another person identifies with it.Regarding ‘types’ I’m typically attracted to, I’m wary of going into things with specific expectations or preconceptions.I’ve been described as a good listener, non-judgmental, logical, affectionate, and intense. My natural self is silly, and I try to say ridiculous things with a straight face. At work preferably.I’m determined to live a fulfilling, well-balanced life, and now that I have a career path I’ve settled on, I’m committing to finding someone to adore. To finding my other puzzle piece.Long career/education answer:I graduated with a BA in political science with a minor in philosophy in ***, right before the recession. I naïvely studied things I was interested in without giving serious thought to what I wanted to pursue for a career. When I graduated I applied to various jobs but without a clear specialization I failed to obtain anything and did jobs ‘just for now’ while focusing on paying off debt. Four years later I finally paid off the debt but was actually further away from beginning a career because I was no longer eligible for internships and I felt like I was tainted with a string of clerical jobs. I felt qualified to do any number of decent jobs by virtue of finishing the degree, and I would apply to many, but the current economic reality requires specialization of some kind or previous experience doing that job. I wanted to pursue something of substance given how inefficient and corrupt many aspects of society are, but one of the biggest lessons I learned from university is that everything you learn from classes is in books one can simply get from the library or find online. ‘Expertise’ does not carry the weight it once had given the widespread availability of knowledge just keystrokes away. Since graduating I’’t paid very well (I’m currently a Database Administrator at the airport).’ve been living at home as a result, because to do otherwise seems financially irresponsible. I’ve recently decided to obtain a Certificate in Conflict Resolution at the Justice *** pursue a position as an Employment Standards Officer. I’m disappointed it has taken this long to decide on a career, but it doesn’t seem that unusual nowadays. So even though I’m just basically starting out, I have a focus now and it’s something I think I’ll enjoy and be good at. Not something I simply fell into but something I can willfully pursue with vigor.
