Um, I'm a Pisces, if you believe in that sort of thing. I was raised by artists and musicians. I turned eighteen in the Marine Corps. Was a history major in college. I work a steel-toed boot job currently, and it's fine for now. I've lived in a few time zones, but been in Iowa full-time since ***. Life's a struggle some times, but I'm happy to be strong and healthy enough to hold up my end. I've started a business, sued the City of Des Moines and won, and been with two women in the last 27 years. I live in a house of peace and laughter. There's a sign by the front door that says BE NICE OR LEAVE. I have a good life, by own standards. They're the only standards that matter to me. I relish the company of a woman who is kind, humane, feminine, authentic, and reasonably calm. I don't deal with big boozers, snobs, the congenitally abrasive, or folks who need conflict in order to feel fully alive. I live between Des Moines and Ames.
