I am a full time Mama and student studying Environmental Studies. I also work part time at my son's daycare, and I bartend ocassionally. I love children and elderly,and generally get along with anyone. I am very close with my family as well as my extended family.. I like to get together with them often. The ability to provide for yourself while the turmoil of the world virtually swings past you... ahhhhh, relief! I am not your average girl. (I am sure you see that a lot) I like easy going music, no scream-o metal or gangsta rap. I am not sensitive, and I can be very blunt and honest to a fault. I am not afriad of bugs, bees, spiders or snakes, and I don't own a thousand pairs of shoes or purses. I can hold all the makeup I own in the palm of one hand. This can pose a small problem when it comes time to dress up for something.. Then I'm begging my girlfriends to help me "be a girl". I am not good around emotional people, (unless it's a kid.. then I'm fine)I am very understanding and open minded. I give great advise, and treat others how I would want to be treated. When it comes to my son, I am a ball of mush.My man should be kind, polite, and honest to everyone he meets. A sort of "would give you the shirt off your back" like me. He should NOT smoke (sorry, it's just SO gross.) Humor is a huge plus in my book. If you can make me laugh, you already have a head start. Please live relatively close by. ...And for god's sake, please have common sense, logic and reasoning abilities. A handy man is appreciated. I have a thing for green or blue eyes with dark hair, and perhaps uniforms. :)So we're clear, I'm not looking for a daddy for my son, and I am not comfortable with my child being around someone who may not be in his life on a steady basis, so there will be no "meet and win over the kid" in your immediate future. lol!! I would prefer to get to know you before a date, just to hang out as friends first and see where that gets us. If things progress, I am ok with that. I enjoy making new friends in a comfortable neutral environment..Something like a walk, coffee, window shopping or people watching...;What you thought you need" is a good description of my idea of a great day with someone you care for very much.

I am a fun loving lady, I am always willing to try anything once! I am very vocal, even though I like to try to keep the peace with everyone...but when you get me going you defiantly get the red headed temper that I have! My friends are the best...I do believe the saying that...the older you get the fewer friends you keep, but the ones you do keep the better and closer they are! I am a softball fanatic, I've played for over 18 years, coached 3 years, and umpired on and off for 4 years! I also enjoy golfing and bowling. I love being busy outside, weather its sitting around a bonfire, swimming, taking a walk through the park or the woods, over I've even dabbled in shooting a gun a little. When the weather isn't permitting to be outside, I like to play cards, board games, Wii, and if it's the right game some Xbox 360... GO BUCKEYES!!! I enjoy most types of music but my favorite would have to be old rock and country...and if you get a few drinks in me you can get me to karaoke about any song there is (I suck though!! My family, friends, and religion are three important things in my life. Without those three things I don't know where I'd be in life. My close friends all have children and their children are very important in my life, a few of them call me Aunt and they have me wrapped around their little fingers! I'm a work in progress, I like to go jogging when the weather is permitting and use the treadmill to jog when it's not. I am looking for a guy who really wants to get to know me for who I am. First date is up for discussion depending on the person, but it would be nice to go for a walk or somewhere that you can actually talk and get to know one another.
