About Me

I am a Western Michigan University senior graduating in December. I'm studying Social Work, Family Studies, Addiction Studies and Interdisciplinary Health. When I graduate I will have a Bachelors in Social Work as well as a Bachelors in Family Studies. I'm not yet totally sure what I'd like to do with my degrees but so far I love the work and take pride in knowing I'm making a difference. I have a small dog named Corky. He was my Grandma's (who I was very close to!!) but she got very sick and past a way a year ago. My Grandpa said he couldn't handle the constant reminder of her so I adopted Corky! I listen to most kinds of music and love it. I love to cook and I have a huge interest in children and child development. I've very recently found a much needed passion for health, nutrition and working out. I am currently working with a fitness coach once a week, it's very hard but enjoyable and rewarding. I love getting to know new people but I'm shy at first. Family is huge to me. In a relationship it's the little things that matter most to me not the money and fancy dates. It's the caring gestures that make you realize you're thought of. I've heard some people that knew me say they thought I was a high maintenance stuck up ****, I apologize for RBF (resting **** face). I have a tough shell and can come off as defensive, we've all been hurt and it's just me trying to protect myself. Don't be afraid to send a message.
