I walk before I run. Reduces the risk of tripping and falling on our way to a destination...I might not be the most beautiful or the sexiest, nor do I have the perfect body. I might not be first choice, but I am a great choice. I don't pretend to be someone I'm not, because I'm just too good at being me. I, in no way, have an issue with self-image - quite the opposite - I'm perfect the way I am; and so is everyone else. That is my point in what I've written above. I'm perfectly imperfect and I expect you are too. So based on that - we either connect or disconnect. No one is for everyone. Now that that's a little clearer. I hope... I spend a lot of time with my female friends, and realize that what I really miss is the one-on-one interaction and company of a man; conversations that bring a different dimension, perspective and understanding. I live my life without expectations, but with plenty of optimism. It all begins with dating and friendship, if there is meant to be more, it will be. Would like nothing more than to experience the 'spark', the 'butterflies' and the passion, yet am secure in knowing time is on my side and patience is a virtue.I am your 'regular girl' (ok, woman)... comfortable in my own skin and secure in my life. Interested in getting to know others who are similar; who like to enjoy life, are optimistic and would rather spend time on the move, than living day to day forming a mold in a couch cushion. You? It's time to be upfront... physical attraction is key. You're someone who takes pride in his appearance. That doesn't mean dressed to impress ***, but well groomed and can look great in a pair of jeans and a t-shirt as well as at that black tie event.-accepting attitude he possessed. I don't see the point in the first two and pay them no attention. If someone is genuinely interested, I assume they'll reach out Upfront and honest - I have tried to correct my age on this site, which it won't allow. I am one year older than what it says on here and very proud and confident about it!

Edited ***Wow!!! This is quite the challenge. Mainly because I'm not certain all viewers read the profiles. So let me put this out here to save everyone some time. I don't care about NASCAR, riding on your Harley or country music. I also do not date men more than 10 years younger or older than myself. Nothing wrong with any of these things, just not MY thing. So with that being said maybe I won't have to delete my profile......the unwanted messages are too much. I'm not on this site for an ego boost or to socialize. If you feel we have common interests then message me. I will read your profile and reply.I've lived in NC for 20 years now so I kind of feel like this is home. I raised my 3 sons here ***. Now that I've completed that and I did a great job I should add. It's my turn.I enjoy music.... I love to listen to all genres while at home or working. I love to dance to just about anything. And concerts are always a good experience as well as small venues with live performances. Although I'm not a fan of country music.I don't watch TV so I can't sit on the sofa with you watching any kind of TV series. I do enjoy movies. Especially action films (grew up the only girl). And I love plays. I'm very spiritual. Not religious. Although I love religion and can talk about any faith endlessly. Friends say I should teach Religious studies. Who knows.....maybe I will. So if you're a bigot or prejudice in anyway please don't waste your or my time on here. For those continuing to read. I love to travel. I want to see the world. I've pretty much covered the US with the exception of a few cities I want to visit.... Both are on my list along with a couple more. I've been to the Grand Caymans & Cozumel. I wasn't that impressed. Nice but too touristy. I've been 3 times can't wait to go again. I want to see Europe & Asia now. I grew up on the east coast and I do miss the smell of salt air. And fresh seafood....OMG....yes my favorite food is seafood. I don't care if I never eat beef or pork again. But seafood I must have. So if you have a shellfish allergy I'm probably a bad choice. I also love Mexican, Indian & Italian food. I'm not sure if I can see myself living in NC the rest of my life. It's beautiful here and all but there is just something missing. I do enjoy watching football with my sons. We go grab a few beers and watch the game it's awesome. I've been Mother and Father through their youth & still in their adulthood. Honesty is very important to me. No relationship of any kind can exist without trust. ***PLEASE READ BEFORE CONTACTING***#1- Being non religious means I follow no form of organized religion.
