To put it simply, I prefer: smoothies over martinis comfort over style hiking over dancing Mary Ann over Ginger progress over perfection A mentor once taught me to focus on relationships by looking for a spiritual, intellectual, emotional and physical connection -- in that order (instead of the other way around!) So, here goes: Spiritual: I enjoy an active and varied spiritual life. I think God wants us to enjoy life and have fun. The principles that are common to different paths inspire me more than the dogma of any one faith, so we'll be most compatible if you're curious and open about spiritual questions. Intellectual: I am a lifelong learner and love to read and write, especially about history and philosophy, but I also like to relax and I enjoy someone with a great sense of humor. I appreciate a woman with an active mind and I’d prefer to learn about your ideas rather than debate who’s right. I don’t own a TV but love to go to movies, plays, live music, etc. Emotional: I'm an ENTJ and Enneagram 3, but I consider myself to be kind and open and honest emotionally, so we'll do best if you're comfortable expressing your feelings. Still, in all my relationships – romantic or otherwise -- I prefer fun serenity to wild theatrics. I'm competitive with my fantasy baseball team and the occasional poker game with the guys, but I won't be with you. I maintain several strong friendships and hope you do, too. Physical/Material: I exercise regularly but not feverishly. I try to keep a healthy diet and recently have felt even better as I’ve cut down on sugar. I know a vegetarian lifestyle would be healthier, and even tried it once, but it didn't take. Still, I strive for a fit, active lifestyle and am attracted to a partner with similar priorities. I'm physically affectionate and enjoy sex. As for money and "stuff," I am successful and financially responsible but I prefer a wonderful meal or adventure to lots of possessions. I have found that the more I simplify my life the more interesting it becomes
