I am not very good at describing myself but here goes.I am a 47 yr old country girl living her dream. I have a farm that I take care of by myself. I do everything; split firewood, work in the garden, cut 13 acres, take care of the dogs, cats, horses...everything. And still work a 50 hr workweek in sales. I have had to learn to be a very independent person and take care of myself. I seem to do a pretty good job of it so far. I wish I had more time to pamper myself but that just isn't the case. If your looking for a high maintenance kinda gal, I'm not the girl for you. I don't get my nails done and I can't remember the last time I had a spa day. But, I do clean up real nice and love to go out. I love surprises and romance. I am a very passionate person; and I love to show those that are close to me how much I care about them.I love to work out on the farm; I don't need a gym membership to stay fit. I would love to say that I am athletic and toned but I am more fit and healthy. You see as much as I like to exercise and stay healthy...I LOVE ALL GOOD FOOD! Going out to a great restaurant and trying new foods is on the top of my list of to do's! I love to cook and have someone cook for me. A quiet evening in is just as much fun as going out in my book. I love to go for walks on the beach or at a park. I love going to the movies and to go antiquing. I can have fun doing just about anything. Well, I can't say I love getting my car serviced or my teeth cleaned. BUT you get what I mean. :)I am an artist with glass; I make lampwork jewelry and stained glass. I learned both of these in order to help my rescues. Yes, this country girl is crazy over animals. I love all kinds of music except Bluegrass and Hard Rock. I recently purchased an Ipad and now am afraid I have joined the ranks of the App Junkies! Never knew you could get addicted to something like that. :)I am looking to find my guy! Every serious relationship must start with friendship first. No games, no drama please!!! I don't play and won't be a part of them. SO if that is who you are...look elsewhere. I will not tolerate a temper or games. I don't have time for either. NO one should be mean to another. I am looking for a fun loving guy that enjoys similar things as I do but has his own life to bring to the table. A great sense of humor is a plus in my book. An animal lover is a major plus too! I Oh I have no idea what a good first date would be. I don't think it should be too dramatic. I think a great first date would be over a cup of coffee or an icecream cone. I think the perfect first date would be a personal thing. Depending on the other person...it takes two to make the perfect date. :)

My profile pictures are current and I guarantee if you ran into me on the street you'd recognize me....what you see really is what you get. I'm most comfortable in my jeans with holes in the knees but I do dress up and love my high heels.I'm adventurous and very spontanious. I have my own kayak and enjoy camping, hiking, boating...basically almost anything outdoors. I'd rather cut grass than vacuum the floor (I do vacuum though...). I love to put the top down on the car and just drive -- rarely do I have a destination in mind.-- bought what I needed and had a great time. My newest toy is a '75 CJ-5...Lots of work, lots of money...Lots of funI have 2 daughters...they don't live at home anymore but they are my best friends and the most amazing people I know. It's through their eyes that I see who I want to be.I'm not afraid to try almost anything and believe I can probably accomplish most. My "real" job is a Marketing Manager but I also have my General Contractors License and was a construction superintendent for about 3 years. I am independant and confident. I really don't need someone to take care of me but I do miss having a partner...someone to laugh with, to walk beside, to share life with.I won't tell you all my secrets on the first date but I will never lie...
