I am new to all of this stuff (dating, meeting guys.. etc) I am painfully shy. Having always had my nose in a book, studying, learning, etc...has meant that I didn't develop and master social skills so please be patient with me. I am an average lady. Nowhere near perfect but that doesn't keep me from working on it. :) I want to get to know you a little before we meet in person. A woman has to be careful now a days.
I am Mestizo meaning I am part Native American (Lipan Apache), Mexican-American and Spanish. Your race is not a factor in who I decide to talk to, make friends with or date. I've seen good, honest, bad, and evil come in all colors, shapes and sizes.
I enjoy chatting online, getting to know new people, writing Android programs and add-ons/themes for Firefox (Mozilla, web browser) and all the rest I am still learning about.
I am a bookworm who loves to read actual books not with an ereader/Nook. I will read pretty much anything I can get my hands on. I enjoy reading true crime, history, science, and about serial killers. I do NOT read romance, trashy novels. They just don't appeal to me. I'm not into "Chick Flicks" either. I like anything with Johnny Depp (especially the stuff he does with Tim Burton) and Robert Downey, Jr. IRONMAN RULES!!!
I enjoy all types of music, including but not limited to: Classical, Country, Jazz, Rock, R&B, Soul, Hip Hop, Hard Rock, Raggae, Tejano, Mariachi and Raggaeton.
I like Metallica, Drowning Pool, Sublime, Queen, Journey, Eminem, Pac, George Strait, Tim McGraw, Carrie Underwood etc..etc..
What am I looking for? I'm looking for the same things most people claim to be seeking. I am looking for someone who is smart, articulate, funny, great sense of humor, compassionate, honest, trustworthy, sweet, kind, loving, faithful, respectable and respectful. And a dirty mind helps. LOL. You can expect the same in return.
I want to meet a man who is my equal but at the same time makes me want to be a better me. Someone who enjoys learning & trying new things. Someone who isn't intimidated by me in any manner. I still admire & enjoy chivalry very much so don't get the wrong idea when I say this: I am not the type of woman who "needs" a man to rescue me, pay my bills, or lead the way but I would enjoy someone to talk to, hang out with, have dinner with etc.
PLEASE .. Do not under estimate the sexiness of an extensive vocabulary and command of the English language, including but not limited to: Grammar, punctuation, spelling, contextual concepts, colloquialisms etc.
I am impressed far more by a big brain than I am by a big wallet.
Now for the bad stuff I am stubborn. I have a razor sharp tongue and I can rip a person to shreds with my words. I don't want to say something I will regret later so I get really quiet and just walk away if we get into a heated arguement. I have a very low tolerance for: ***, bigotry, hatred, lies and stupidity in general. I am very facetious so don't assume that I am always being serious. I will not play the "damsel in distress" or dumb it down just to get a man to talk to me. I'm basically a "good girl" and a "bad ass woman" for the right man. ONE Man only. I don't share and I don't cheat. :)
